Hi there! Yes the inks are waterproof once completely dry. Some colours take longer to set than others, so our recommendation would be to give your ink drawing at least an hour to dry before rewetting with water, inks or other wet media.

Hi there! The binder for these paints can be very delicate. It's recommended to put a fairly thick layer to allow for the best contact with the paper. Applications of the aqua bronze with diluted with lots of water will increase the chance of paint loss. We have heard of artists adding gum arabic to the mixture (watercolour binder) to increase the permanence of the aqua bronzes on their painting surface. Hope this helps!

I have recently purchased this gorgeous product and made some tests. I am only a hobby painter, but someone may find this helpful or a little useful. I found the following: 1 drop of water to 3-4 parts powder works best. 2 drops are OK and it still sticks well, 3 drops of water is starting to get questionable. I then diluted it by 1 drop of water 10 x and from 4 drops onward it was very easy to rub off the pigment in varying amounts. It was incredibly easy to rub off the last 5 samples. I then mixed 2 drops of Gum Arabic with 1 drop of water and gently brushed this over the top half of each swatch, it reactivated the pigment momentarily which was beautiful to watch as the colour shimmered away until it settled which was why it had to be painted over gently and in as few strokes as possible. Once that had dried though, the pigment underneath was almost completely stable and no longer rubbed off. The untreated pigment rubbed off very easily still. Be sure to wash your brush thoroughly after use as it globs them up very easily, be aware that the product is not safe for the environment and will need to be disposed of safely as per the packaging advice. I hope this helps.

the side trays attach with magnets and are quite sturdy! But yes, you could attach a solvent cup with a clip of some sort.

Pliers help hold the canvas tight. I couldn’t stretch large canvas without them.

Yes, to hold the canvas tightly in place. It can be very hard on your hands with a larger canvas or if you're stretching primed canvas.
