Wonderful performances by all Many thanks for keeping this great legacy instrument alive and thriving!

I originally attended this SYA to relax and unwind as this was planned to be my summer vacation. I'm a keyboard technician. I don't like performing in front of people. Guess who they forced into performing? Me. I was there to see some theater organs and other keyboard apparatues. There were some people who all played the same exact thing every time they "had the bench". I pretty much improvised all my nonsense because I only play for myself, not others, hence why I didn't want to perform, yet they shanghai-edd me in anyway. I met some friends and I met some enemies. Overall, it was a pretty neat experience. Would I do it again? Probably not.

Are there any chapters of ATOS IN MA, in or around the Cape Cod area? I know there’s an active chapter of the AGO there.

It was wonderful that this video popped up on my TH-cam this morning. I very much enjoyed each of the performances by these fine youth. Congratulations on your accomplishments at the SYA this year! We look forward to hearing you in the future as you continue to develop your skills. (The Kimball sounds nice. Kudos to the maintenance crew.)

I'll tell you what anybody that knows how to play. Any kind of an instrument knows how hard it is to play that instrument. Where did this man learn how to play that instrument because there's a lot more stuff there than just those keys and those pedals. I've been to the Oregon driver, probably six or seven times. And yes, what a great place to go to listen to music, especially when he did 2001 space Odyssey music. Oh my goodness! Good pizza too!

Organists never cease to blow me away. They are playing multiple instruments simultaneously, using their fingers and feet.

What a wonderful idea for a Christmas Special on TV! Back when entertainment was simple, but GOOD, Light and happy, wholesome, clean… featuring people with actual talent. And this type of music and artistry. I wish we still had these places around the country, rather than two or three at the most. Thanks for sharing! I wish it were longer.

Wonderful music from two great artists, why did it end so abruptly?

Simply ... WOW. What a great collection and an amazing pool of talent. The future of the theatre organ is safe and secure with up-and-comers like these kids. Kudos to all who made this possible.

Great to see so much young talent coming up! If only cinemas still had theatre organs to hire them! (I enjoyed the film in "vertical cinemascope". I don't know why mobile 'phones can't be turned 90 degrees when filming? Hehehe)

I’m 83 now and live within a mile of where this used to be . What a loss when they took it apart . The building now stands empty .A shell of what was a wonderful place to take the whole family and have a great time. My daughter’s and I loved the loudness .Not so much their father ,but he put up with us. L.o.l. This building had Fantastic Acoustics. Always had great Organists. I will keep this video handy .My 16 Great - Grand’s are going to hear this one. They already enjoy , Mike Reed in Ohio on U Tube. Another Fabulous Organist that has been Performing and teaching music for the past 60 yrs. He’s a Sensational Organist on his 1974 Hammond Grandee with spinning Leslie’s. I am a theatre & classical organ fan. Sorry but your video leaves a lot to be desired. How about telling us the size of the organ, the number of ranks, the chamber analysis, a view of the auditorium with seating capacity, a sample of each rank, wind pressure, etc, etc.

What a thrill to hear Jonas Nordwall play this fabulous organ. He performed many times on the Wurlitzer theatre organ in my former residence in Gig Harbor. He is the best organist I have ever heard.

Loved this and the silent movies

..... 30 plus years of clamoring to find video of this organ... let alone the organ and master at the helm... this has been an emotional motherload. This organ and this artist... is the reason im as deep as i am in theater organs. Meeting him was a dream come true . And sonis this video. I wish the rest of it would surface. Than you who ever uploaded this... Denis headburg was a genius... and this was one of his fineat achievements. And evidence like this needs to be preserved
