Good job! Thanks for sharing
Bad idea running it in an enclosed space even with an open door and fan.
I agree. That was part of our test. There is a roll-up door that we will leave open on the next run. In an emergency, we will be running it outside for sure.
Definitely the veterans❤
I found a highly rated veterans charity in my area. I'll be calling them next week. I'll update as things progress. Thanks for the input!
My man, this is a totally illegal electrical hook-up and dangerous. You need to move the generator breaker to the top and add a interlock kit. You can get one for under 30.00 usually and it prevents you from running the gen with the MAIN breaker on to provide for utility workers to safely work on the power lines. The transformers on the pole up scale the current so it becomes lethal voltage from the generator. You may need to run longer wire to get to the top of the panel but you putting this on YT as is is providing proof of doing it wrong and in need of correction. Watch a few more videos on this and you will see the proper and easy way to make this safe. Well done up to that point though!
Good feedback! The breaker has a safety device that stops it from being switched on accidentally. We'll move things around like you mentioned in the future.
Let me know if you find the problem. I'm having similar symptoms with the same ECU code
There are a lot of parts that effect the system. I'll try to post a repair manual section that I used to reference to track down issues like this. Look for it in the "Community" section later today.
This was the most serene and beautiful descent and approach in my flying lifetime. I highly recommend watching the full "Related Video" - th-cam.com/video/s3UudUApBF4/w-d-xo.html
Be aware the LED bulbs are polarized. They will fit into the sockets fine. But, if they do not turn on after replacement, pull the bulb out and reverse it.
No measurements, just guess on the bracket location. 😂
These are the reviews that need to be more popular. Showing the product after regular use
my boost will fluctuate when it reaches peak boost, is it a sign of boost leak?
Most likely, no. Boost leak would cause you to iverwork the engine and you probably wouldn't reach peak. At least you're gett to your peak boost. Sounds like boost "creep" over the expected limit, causing the boost control system to struggling. A tuner should be able to give you a better idea of how to get better control of your pressure. Hope that helps.
Im in the process of adjusting my Fr spec coilovers and how i set preload was i tightened the spanner down onto the spring until it held it tight enough the spring wouldnt wiggle back and forth at all (no clunk noises) then i set the 4mms of preload until i could fit the little wrench in between them. Then measured both springs to make sure they were compressed the same and they are both within 6 7/8ths inches. Then did my height calculations from there im wanting to drop an inch in the back and an inch and 325ths in the front because the fr spec for some reason is already lowered 325ths of an inch in rear on their max thread max height setting which is your base. So to not offset the ride geometry youd need to lower the front that 325ths of an inch first then lower both front and rear an inch. Its tricky setting these up thats for sure lmao
Bought one today. I’ve had 2 Grand Cherokees. This is just as good if not better. Very solid feel when driving. Feel very safe while driving.
😎 This Wilderness trim is great! I'm sure it will hold its value well, too.
Give me your feedback on which charity I should donate this Expedition to : th-cam.com/users/postUgkxZKkxQMXyk1HchJHCvenODpAHY57Q2uak?si=ZsbO77puTNkSdADq
You said the pump was intermittent. Can you describe the symptoms? I have no engine light but an odour on startup that goes away after a short while and car drives fine with odour dissipated…Great & helpful video…Thank you!
Thank you! That was part of the diagnostic readout. I had the gas fume odor also as the only symptom. You could get in there and look for any loose or damaged hoses and connectors if you don't have a check engine light. There is usually a charcoal filter as part of the emissions system that you may want to look into.
@ You are the only person that mentioned the word “intermittent” which I found really helpful…also your suggestion coupled with an EVAP smoke test might reveal the location if it’s in the hoses or connectors…it might be in the diaphragm of the pump I guess….again “thank you”
For the benefit of other viewers reading the comments, I’ll mention that early in the warmup and drive as the odour dissipates, hitting a couple of speed bumps returns the gas odour to the interior of the car until it begins to dissipate again….No problems when the car warms up.
My ignite went out bruh
Dang! Hope you can replace it. I need to see how mine is doing.
Does your piezo igniter click constantly when it’s plugged in? I have the same heater and I assume the igniter would stop firing once you’re not holding the knob in.
Dang! You should be able to replace it. If I find one online, I'll paste a link.
@@dontmesswiththemanyeah...wierd. It seems like a lazy design.
God bless you !!
Another solid video, Mr.cliff, We specifically produce LEDs for auto. Can we invite you as a collaborator to do a review? If so,How can we connect with you?
Thank you for the encouragement! I'm not interested at this time. Thank you for reaching out, though. Good luck!
I was wondering if wrap would work
A little bit. Best method is the right resonator for the setup. Fortunately, I got lucky with my setup.
@MrCliffWorks yeah i was looking at the 1/4 hz set ups
Still looks and smell new though.
I looked at some color options at the dealership and I went with the magnetic greay. That color goes real well with the body guards. Love mine but the problem is I already have over 9000 miles on mine lol. Can't keep it new forever.
Yeah- that's a good color.
Mask surrounding areas to avoid overspray.
I can buy that off you and I’ll even give cash to the family that was supposed to get it, got a emotional attachment to this truck
The Expedition is the gift that keeps on giving! Good video!
Thank You!
Ask and you shall receive. Thanks for making this video
ford C6?
Close...2000 Ford Expedition. It has the 4 speed automatic with AWD/4WD.
@MrCliffWorks Nice. The design seems so close to a c6.
I'd be interested to see the inside of that sensor. Good job!
Thanks, DC! I'll get a short out on that today.
There's more to it than this video shows. Trust me.
For sure. We had to do some light flicking and display watching to identify other outlets, switches, and fixtures on these circuits.
You don't have to take out anything else besides the tire to get access to it?
Correct. I only had to remove the wheel for this.
@MrCliffWorks thank you very much
I love my new steps! They look great! Thank you ❤
You're welcome!
Great video
Thanks! This made a huge difference on control and drivability. The only front end issue that remained was from the negative camber. There was a point in the rack range that took a bit more force to overcome than the rest. I didn't have time to fine tune that out before I traded it in.
Our electrician is coming today. If all goes well, I'll post a quick test.
I’ve owned a WRX & two STIs ; they were awesome but I feel like I aged out of them - there’s something icky about young-ish 20 something year old checking out a 56 year old in a boy racer car ! 😒 I have a 2025 Outback Wilderness now - it’s an amazing vehicle ! Subaru = ❤️
I wish I had owned a Subaru earlier in life. I would have had even more fun with them. I do have some ideas for this Crosstrek if I'm able. It's great as it is, if not.
i recommend powering your breakers one at a time when on the gen, having them all on at once can shock load the gen and kill it, but other then that how did it work out for you?
I agree. Ill start with all off but a couple of lights. Wiring is off somewhere between input and generator breaker in main panel. I have an electrician coming to troubleshoot.
That's awesome of you!!!!!
God has put this on my heart. There's a great need and I'm able to fill it.
Im doing this tonight. Thanks for the vid.
Glad it helped! Did it go ok?
Just stripped a bolt bouta jerry rig this mf hope it sticks
lol
Thanks! It works!
Awesome! 😁 Keep the catalyst unwrapped or barely covered - it can toast the catalyst materials.
I love drone
😆
Me too! But my wife and son don’t 😂
The drone on mine with a rear seat delete is pretty bad. Highway speeds it’s rough. Doesn’t help that I can hear the rear end screaming too
@icebox829 sound deadening material may help sime if its really bad.
@@MrCliffWorks yeah it’s mostly the drone from the exhaust it hits a certain pitch and it’s pretty rough. It’s not so much how loud it is. But I might put some deadening in at some point
Nice kit top tune!
I recently installed these type. And it won’t shut off for the life of me constant noise
Dang! If you haven't already, try using anti-squeal lubricant. Ceramic pads might be a solution but more expensive, or your rotors may need replacement. Hope it gets resolved - that's a driving buzz-kill.
I need one for my 06 Avalon
2 inch lift kit and skid plate make wrx wilderness
I wanted to turn my 2017 WRX into a rally-inspired beast, but decided to get this instead. I hope I can get an older STI some day and give it another go.
Transmission follow-up: The benefits from the smooth operation outweigh any of its quirks 👍🏻
I’ve owned a crosstrek wilderness since November and put over 15k miles on it. It’s not only been flawless but the headrests got softer and the mpg improved over time.
Nice!
Do you panic every time you need to pass someone on the highway?
@RaytheonNublinski lol...now I'm the guy I used to pass
Follow up please, show the baby chick!
We'll be doing that next Spring 🐣
Good info, never thought I would reach a point where Subaru’s would appeal to me but at 56 I think I would like any of the Outback’s, Forrester or this. I’m looking at one as a daily driver that would be suitable for some car camping. A few years back when I test drove an Outback what struck me was that it was the perfect height while getting in it…lol. Not to low like my lowered mustang gt that I had at the time and not to high like my current Jeep wrangler. Our needs change with age.
Exactly! The WRX was amazing but not practical at this point. Maybe I can get a project car to tinker with in the future.
