How do we extend the leg rests for long legs?
You MISSED SOMETHING. How to adjust height of leg rests for shorter and longer legs. I see the place to adjust but not how to do the adjustment. I'm assuming it is a 5 second fix, but I don't know the five seconds!
To adjust the length of the leg rests, there should be a series of holes with a peg that can be pushed in to allow the foot rest part to move shorter and longer. In this video, you can see four holes on the black part of the outside of the leg rest next to the calf panel, and a silver peg that is on the second hole from the top. If you push that peg in, the foot rest can slide up and down so the peg will line up with a different hole. This will adjust the length for different individuals. Different leg rests may look a bit different, but the method of adjustment should be similar. Look for holes and a peg or button that can be pushed to release the foot rest and pull it up or down. I hope this helps!
I accidentally figured how to do it. Your reply contains the same error that I made. I know about the "holes with a peg." That's what threw me off. There are TWO Pegs opposite each other that are easily pressed in simultaneously to make the adjustment. I assume having two pegs is a safety feature to lessen chances of slipping. It's the simple stuff that stops us.@@candiraudebaugh4737

How do you adjust the Calf panel up and down the leg rest?
Hi! Sorry I missed your comment until now. On this particular wheelchair, the calf panel is locked at that height. Other wheelchairs may have a bolt that can be loosened to free the calf panel and move it up or down. The bolt should be on the side or back of the calf panel.
I’m having some health issues with my joints, but we had a family trip planned for New York City. This th-cam.com/users/postUgkxuxJwamLFanm476LC5WPeTouyyU1GXomC was perfect! It’s lightweight enough that my friend could carry it up or down stairs when we needed to. (I can walk very short distances) It was comfortable for me to sit in, I would say if you’re super tall it might be a little cramped. I’m 5’1” and the foot rests were the perfect height. This may not be the best one for long term use, you get what you pay for, but for something that fits our budget that gives me accessibility while we deal with my health this was amazing.
I’m actually in the hospital and no one knows how to lower the foot rest. Your video gave me the answer, thanks!

If you can't lock the leg back in front, the same lever that lets it open out to the side (it's toward you/the patient under the curved bar from the armrest) -just gently close the opposite side of that same lever, the black part near your leg.
I think we overextended our leg rests. They are stuck in a too high position. How can we fix this?
If the leg rests are stuck in the elevated position, the mechanism could be stuck. Sometimes overextended leg rests can be lowered again by pulling the lever forward and lifting up on the leg rest until it loosens, then lowering the leg rest. If that still doesn't allow the leg rest to move, you can try jiggling the lever and the leg rest at the same time to see if that gets it moving again. This updated video shows the lever a bit more clearly: th-cam.com/video/W8wTbyA-bbA/w-d-xo.html In the updated video, you will see the lever at about 17 seconds in, and you can also see the mechanism that allows the leg rest to raise and lower at about the 38 second mark. The volume for this video is way too low. Even with my iphone volume set at the highest, I could not hear what this woman was saying. Even on my computer, at max volume on the youtube volume control, it is way too quiet. Very frustrating, since I was trying to help a relative with his wheelchair foot rests.

Can I remove the calf rests? I don't want to use them. I assume if I remove the nut that you were holding still, then I can slide the bolt out, and the calf rest should be able to come the leg?
Yes, the calf rests on the wheelchair in the video can be removed by taking the bolt out. To use the leg rests in an elevated position, the calf panels would be needed, but if used only in the lowered position it should work fine to go without a calf rest.

How do you keep from elevating like why isn't there a lock mechanism! You know can keep elevating how do you stop the easy elevation
What do you do if it’s stuck
You could try lightly oiling bolts and hinges and tapping lightly with a mallet. If it is still stuck, the best option is to contact the vendor for assistance.
I wish the sound had a little bit more volume, my laptop only goes so loud, and it's not enough for this one. This is the video I needed to finish putting my wheelchair back together.

WHile we have figured out how to remove the legs the up and down adjustment is not working - there is leaver but it moves a little and does not allow moving the leg up and down. The leg came assembled and I think it was mis-assembled by the company. I quite a handyman but cant figure this out. A closer view of the leavers would help this video.
