How much do you take into account the electromagnetic environment generally, any probes are travelling through, when designing them? I ask this because, still on earth the weather is thought to be, a heat travelling across the deep freeze of space process and so and with it, mainly being a kinetic process here on earth. Rather than seeing it from a charged mater perspective. But when we consider the earth's electrical field has a voltage differential of negative ground at zero volts, rising up through the atmosphere by about 100 volts per metre, to about 100,000 volts at the ionosphere. Then we know why dust devils on Mars are direct electrical discharges (Birkeland Currents, so circuits) from its ionosphere to ground, with that type of discharge being PDM 1. Until plasma pinching (current density in the discharge increasing) at the planet's surface, with it then seen to change discharge modes. With direct discharges being due to not having the type of atmosphere, like here on earth. Also see Venus for this direct type of discharge, but much more energetic and in PDM 3. Also please consider that because all atoms in the known universe are made of protons (positive charge) and neutrons (negative charge), then all atoms are naturally each within themselves, a separation of charge and so making each atom, an electric field. So no need for 'spooky action at a distance', as they have resonate connection.
