Can anyone tell me if this has a maple cap or maple veneer? And is it solid body or with weight relief?
Do you use this plugging in two electro acoustic guitars? Currently playing with just one elctro acoustic so am plugging into the line that you can have the hi z on it? Do you use a di box for the other line or is it fine to plug an electro acoustic straight in? I dont understand technologiesss haha thanks xx
sounds very good think you like the Düse and your playing is cool and one can see that ya love playing on that small beast😁from Atze Göldorf the Owner of Düsenberg / Hanover and she has a 55`` vos Custom Neck from a marple Tree one half stands in DenmarK the other half of the Tree stands in Sweden i know that cause i know the Tree in Person, was a yah Tree not but for the from Canada😛so have fun to relic that Guitar steel woll will do that perfect😁than it looks more roadworn for the same Price 😇Howdy Howdy
Thanks for putting this review up
Hi lads, thanks for the detailed video. I am curently looking to buy one of these or a gibson es335. Any thoughts?
@@adamcooper3166 they are both very different guitars, an es335 has a larger body and feels totally different. You really need to try before you buy
@@aussiephildan440 Thanks again. Bit of a newby to the semi hollow body space, been playing acoustic for near on 20 years - very keen to get both in my hands and have a play.
Does any body know when Gretsch stopped making This guitar in Korea? I am going to buy one and I am in Korea I could hardly find one the good thing is that the Korean made comes with hardcase
In a house full of tube amps and cabs ( including a quad box ) my favourite clean sound is a Strat through my little Marshall MG10 ( with a TC reverb pedal ) sitting on a table right in front of me played fairly quietly. It amazes me that something so small sounds so good, and it cost me $45 second hand !
Do you still recommend this one today?
I just picked one of these up at the local guitar shop yesterday... chose it over a Vox NightTrain... tough choice but this amp sounds fantastic... reminds me of the MesaBoogie I had back in the day.
I have a chance to grab one of these at a very low price, should I grab it? 😋 I like it! 🇨🇦👍🏻
You need to play them one at a time. with two playing it is way to much noise to tell the difference. Also you have the microphone difference and the guitar on the front sounds better with which ever guitar in in the front.
From his chops, one would expect he knows better than to demo an amp exclusively saturated in effects.. that delay is akin to way too much perfume .
The delay is quite nice on that amp. It makes the amp sound huge! I have one. Its not AMAZING, but it certainly sounds better than a $100 delay pedal that I bought. I would still have to agree with you that some demoing without the FX would have been great!
Great review! Nice guitar other than weight, wow it looks so identical to RG5320C-DFM I showed Dan few days ago, which I aim for in September... Keep up! :) Cheers Phil, Dan.
As a watch enthusiast, what watch is that?
Hey man, sorry l missed your comment as this channel is Phils baby! That is a serious £9 watch from Temu!😂 l love Temu, cheap but everyday crap one can wear and not worry about breaking it! I have about 6 of them in all kinds of colours.😊
Dan u should do an updated video on your Guitars & amps
Interesting idea! But.... 😲It would take five or six videos! I've a ridiculous Collection these days😂
It looks great in 4K!!!!!!😊
Hellraiser for sure
highly recommended.. worth every dime.. i had one..and if you sound bad in this amp, there is something with you..
This Video is in 4K,Just go to settings, click Advanced then 2160 And youll see the Scenery much better! 😊 thanks for watching!
Great cover ...luv the video ...more
Cheers Gerry!
Interesting bit about the opening scene Gerry,Phil walking thru the doorway. That's filmed at Bective Abbey,it's used in BRAVEHEART also. An amazing place.
This is really cool guys. I was looking at these, but also at the Joe Walsh Duesenberg. Kinda torn which cleans I like best. Any pointers you could share?
Both great guitars, a hard choice. Gretsch filtertons are tasty pickups, bit duesenbergs sound great aswell. It comes down to the aesthetics I would say
I have this Amp, and i love it. A cheap bugger, yes. Some complain about the clean channel, but i think its ok. I don't know if its just my Amp, but the boost channel produced a lot of Noise. So i plugged in my GT-10 at the back, like a Pre-amp channel i guess. And the noise was gone🥳🤠👌🤌. Also brilliant that you can use this as a top on larger cabinets❤ its a steal
Вот это хватка у рыжего, огонь 🤘тут не о гитаре видео ))
Just picked 1 up in NSW AUST. Fully rebuilt, even the tolex. Amazing amp! $250. Sounds as good as my Vox AC 15 C1 (but obviously different) @ 1/3 the price. Jam on! Maybe a Vintage 30 on the cards, but then it's not cheap.
Nice one. A speaker upgrade does make a big difference.
@@aussiephildan440 I just remembered that I actually bought a Dead Vintage 30, out of a Orange valve amp for super cheap, a couple of years ago. Paid something like $30. I better have a look for it. In my stash somewhere. Don't know the resistance, off hand. The guy I bought it from plugged in a HH Tele like guitar. Man, he is a Awesome player. He could plug into a $10 amp & make it sound Great! Me? No! Love playing & improving tho. Cheers
My Korean Gretsch goes out of tune….
Here's the price on them now in 2024 i would imagine this will effect everywhere eventually...Jackson X Series Signature Adrian Smith SDXM Electric Guitar (Snow White, Black Pickguard) Bundle with Adrian Smith Molded Case (2 Items) Brand New Price$829.98Jackson X Series Signature Adrian Smith SDXM 6-String Electric Guitar (Right-Handed, Snow White) The Jackson X Series Signature Adrian Smith SDXM Electric Guitar features a poplar San Dimas body and a bolt-on maple neck with graphite-reinforcement rods that refuse to budge, no matter how much environmental stress it's exposed to. It's 12 to 16 inch compound radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays is the perfect launching pad for rapid-fire riffing or complex chords. High-Output Humbucker The SDXM packs a Jackson high-output humbucker in the bridge position and Jackson single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions. The humbucking pickup was painstakingly voiced for a full, rich tone while providing maximum overdrive and sustain, whereas the single-coil middle and neck pickups deliver that unmistakable Strat snap. A five-way blade selector switch with single volume and tone controls open up endless tonal possibilities, while the Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo system keeps the guitar in tune through any abuse you throw its way. 12 to 16 Inch Compound Radius Maple Fingerboard Jackson pioneered the use of the innovative 12 to 16 inch compound radius design, in which the maple fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for comfortable and natural-feeling chording and riffing near the nut, with optimal shred articulation and bending nearer the heel. Jackson High-Output Humbucking and Jackson Single-Coil An atypical configuration for Jackson, this guitar features a humbucker in the bridge position and single-coil pickups in the neck and mid positions. The Jackson high-output humbucking pickup was painstakingly voiced for a full, rich tone while providing maximum overdrive and sustain. The Jackson single-coil middle and neck pickups deliver that tried-and-true Strat sound.
Thanks a million for the video, sounds deadly! I am thinking of buying this for busking. I'm a solo singer but not a great guitar player. My plan is to pre-record the guitar and then as I am busking, play along to the backing track via the bluetooth on my phone. Do you think it's possible to do this using this system? If so, would a 400 or 600 be best?
How about one had single coils and one has humbuckers...Wow.. You can't compare these two guitars...there're two different instruments....yikes
Keep that positive attitude going
That was groovy and uncommon, thanks.
Cheers Ben👍
Very nice lads. Looking forward to more of this.
Cheers Mikey! New vid coming soon!
Great noise for sure and a three piece ...more
Cheers Gerry, we are working on the next song at the moment
I thought this was a cover it was so good! I like the Zeppelin-esque harmonies at the end. Also nice wheels at 3.00.
Cheers, Thank you very much. The stang is cool alright
I really dislike the attitude from the guy on the left, dude on the right is getting some good / decent sound out of the amp, and the man just laughs and laughs like "you can't be serious".. get of the high horse just a little bit
Phil is the Gary Moore of Oz man. Hope that's a valve Vox, not transistor in the background. ty 4 review lads
Just bought one for $26.26c hard to believe 🤔🐑😳😂 people don't know what they have.....? 😮 💥🤯😜
must sound worse in the room because besides waaay to much delay it sounds good to me ...
The tan is actually an English white color based off of a 50s jaguar car
Was that a bit of Blondie "The Hardest Part" ?
If you are going to talk guitar history, get it right. The SG3000 was NOT released at the same time as the SG1000 and SG2000. The SG range had existed in some form from 1973 but it really took off after Yamaha built one for Carlos Santana in 1975. In 1976 Yamaha released the SG range you are referring to with the SG2000, 1500, 1000, 700 & 500. The SG3000 did not appear until 1982. I have a 1976 batch SG1000 that I bought new in September 1977. It does things that Gibsons and Fenders can only dream of.
The guy on the left's amp sounds massively over processed and not real. The old MG sounds like an actual guitar. I play blues with mine and it's all I have, it's authentic sounding and not modern fake
Have mine for years. Clean is so clean. OD is impressive. ANY Boost, Cascades GREAT. Wish Speaker swap was Ez.
what is jamano tokai or what endless stupid talk about flames giveme black custom
It is not hard to make an amp sound good.First you have to spend time with it,2nd you need a nice guitar,3rd you need to adjust your volume and tone on guitar.
What exact model is this???
Is a Marshall MG15DFX
They sound like banjos
My sister in law just asked me if I wanted one of these, I said how much, haven’t heard back yet but the amp could definitely be mic’d up and run through the mixer. Lots of the legends like Nugent do.
Pedal very imazing but the guitar irritating.
Your guitar humbucker but like single coil....very noisy.
Great pedal......but noisy and hum..
Once again, it's that time of the year again. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year Oi! Oi! Oi!
WOW!!!!
