    325’ of HSW there. I felt really cool doing this. I only broke up the CTB and BMU’s. CTB were 12/10/8 and BMU’s were 6/4. Reason I felt really cool is because I did the first 2 rounds in like 3:30 and I got to the 2nd 2 rounds and still felt really good but figured I’d slow down so my HSW didn’t implode. Got done with both sets at 8:22 and HSW felt fine, did one length of 25’ like every 30-45 seconds. Overall, this went well and I’m curious how it stacks up.

    time was 24:55. Was very shocked I finished this. Burpees in beginning were quick but still somewhat paced. Last 25 were full sprint. Chest to bar were quick sets of 5's. Double under I tripped twice but I didn't necessarily break them up. Wallballs were 5 every 20 seconds. Row pace was 750-850 cal/hr. Toes to bar were 20/20/10. I found a hard push with 10 cals left on row and dug deep to finish this. Proud of how it went.

    So I have a question I’m 65 years old. I’ve been exercising for over 40 years. I use a Schwinn airline and older one and I find that I do 30 second animals for 30 seconds for us at five on the load indicator. That’s my go to work out I do that for 25 minutes six days a week. I do high intensity maybe once a month where I’m at nine for 10 seconds for 20 seconds rest for six minutes I just want a little feedback if you can give me some feedback on what you think of that I’ve been doing that for a couple years seems to be working real well now I don’t see you talking about the heart rate which is very important for somebody to keep track of what your heart rate is when you’re on the bike anyway have a good day.

    My experience is the Echo bike is a harder machine to hit numbers. More mass is harder to move. The weight of the handles,, size of the fan, and belt driven vs chain driven.... My output is always higher on an assault. Higher calories, higher speed, higher RPM. I have both bikes, and have used different generations of the Assault bike.

    I move every 2-3 years for my job and have been a member of 10+ CrossFit gyms. The ones that outsource their programming are the worst ones. Their coaches are clueless on the intent of each session. Members would ask “why are we squatting again?” And the coach would respond with “well that’s what Rich and his team programmed.” I know Rich Froning doesn’t program Mayhem Affiliate but that’s what the coaches think. Also, coaches should lead their own unique warm ups. That way they aren’t just standing around holding a PVC pipe while members do the hip circle or crossover symmetry by themselves.

    • @zoarfitness
      @zoarfitness หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, I agree. It's a lot easier to be connected to the community and the "why" with in-house. ps. not sure if you're referring to what Chris and I talked about with warm-ups in lesson plans vs. morning floor coach, but both of us have structured coach-led warm-ups...it just varies as to who writes it (the in-house programmer vs. the floor coach).
