Perfect! Husband is making me a frame and I am making the cover.
Thanks sooo much! I was struggling with how to cover my styrofoam balls and this turned out to be exactly what I had in mind but just didn’t know it!!! Now I know it and feel equipped to do it!!!
You are so welcome!
Nice stitches
Thanks
Thank you for this video! I am going to make a walnut dye with some walnuts i collected on a walk 😁
Have fun!
I have an antique child's coat that is discolored and I'd like to dye it but I'm concerned because the fabric is delicate. I don't know if it would hold up to boiling?
I would be concerned that it would shrink when boiling. I haven't tried them but I believe there are some cold dyes that you might try. The fabric I am using I want shrunk so the boiling doesn't matter. Good luck!
Those screws you used- did you just go straight through the MDO and into the sheet metal? We have the same situation here. My husband thinks that's the easiest way to go about this. Did you need to seal anything from the inside where the screws went through?
I did it as you described. Straight through the MDO and sheet metal into the boards on the inside that the sheet metal is screwed to. I would have liked to seal where the screws went through the metal but didn’t think of any way to do that.
thank you this is very helpful 👍🏻
You're welcome
Amy, your presentation was very informative. Thanks. Cute fall decorations.
Thank you so much!
nope.did not work can u do it with thick yarn i only have the needle and yarn what do i do bro._.
Did you spin the red yarn? It looks different than the hank you showed earlier. At least to me?
I did not spin the red yarn. Good eye!
Very nice Job Mike❤!!!
Thank you!
Hi! How would you deal with it if you don’t have a serger?!
You could zigzag the edges with your sewing machine.
Where would I find a light box like you used?
I use this light box: amzn.to/3TRpq4u (affiliate link) Thanks for watching!

Thank you ... Your the reason i started punching ...i love your videos please keep making them ..more would be awesome!!!

Thank you. ❤❤❤
You're welcome
Thank you for video ,I was wondering how that look was created 😊
You are so welcome! Glad it was helpful for you.
won't it smell like coffee or tea?
It definitely does for a while.
Thanks!
You bet!
Very helpful..as usual! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Amy, so many ideas, wow! Thanks! Did you add any type of interfacing when punching on the tea towel? Or is the towel woven tightly enough? I am still working on my first project from years ago. I am determined to get it done before Christmas this year!😊
It has been a while since I made that tea towel, but I believe I did use some interfacing on it, similar to how I punched this project: th-cam.com/video/jKT-Tpl4c-M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JOFdi2UPGCA8sOXa Keep punching!
What hoop frame do you use
I am using a gripper strip frame. Here's a link to woodworking plans for the one I am using. doodledogprimitives.etsy.com/listing/785996387
I want to know as well! The viewing hole in the bottom of the stand is something I've not seen before.
My Dad made it for me. He created woodworking plans that I have available in my Etsy shop.
Thanks Amy. Nice video on creating movement.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome trick thank you!!
Happy to help!
The bottom is a tortilla shell baker made rusty! Great idea….

❤ Very nice looking Acorns. You made it look so easy.
Thank you! 😊
To be clear..he screwed through the quilt to attatch to barn?
Yes, he screwed through the barn quilt and through the tin on the barn into the wooden structure of the barn. The screws were spaced to align with the wood behind the tin.
Thanks. That really helped me get mine set up properly. Although the handle on mine doesn't have a groove to match up.
Glad it was helpful!
My question was, which finished edge was preferred? The comments answered that question. I will definitely try the hand stich method. Thank you for the good comparison tutorial! I was very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Amy! So helpful - Love the chain method! 🫣 If I painted in another color, would I still use the same paste wax? And what texture sandpaper did you use? 😊
I used a 180 grit sandpaper. I don't know why you couldn't use the same wax. You could always try it on a test piece of wood first to make sure you like the effect. Have fun creating!
Thanks Amy! I really like the design of that board. That turbo glue is the best but dries quickly so you have very little time to move and position the piece.😊
Thanks for watching!
Did you know that Roxxanne's Wool Cutter costs less for a new model than many 2nd hand cutters?
How long can you store the dye and it still be useful?
I store mine in the refrigerator. With time, I don't find the dye to lose its potency, but like most things, it will get moldy.
Hi thanks for the information. I’m unable to find the weavers cloth in Joann’s or any of my craft stores, where did you purchase your cloth? Thank you in advance.
You're welcome. I carry the weavers cloth in my store. doodledogprimitives.etsy.com/listing/270554287
Great tip with the online Hexigon measuring app. Thank you! :)
You're welcome!
Very nice job and very interesting.
Thank you very much!
This is helpful, thank you Amy! Do you have a video on how to paint and distress those beautiful hornbooks?
That's in the works for two weeks from now!
Thanks Amy! That was very helpful since horn books are very expensive.
Glad it was helpful!
Where do you buy your wool and what type of wool? There are so many choices.
It can be tricky when shopping - especially online to make sure you get the right thing. You don't want it to be too loose of a weave or too thick of a fabric. I usually purchase from a store that specializes in rug hooking. So far, that has always gotten me wool that is good for hooking. I have had good luck with Dorr Mill Store. If you are unsure, just ask the store before purchasing. I find most places to be helpful!
The pin loom shawl pattern doesn't connect any more to schacht to retrieve.
