Welcome to my second channel all about my other passion. SLAPPING BALLS! I have been known to slap balls for my country and now I'm going to travel the world and slap balls with my hand, a racquet, a padel and anything else I can find in as many games as possible. I'll meet the top athletes, go to the most iconic courts and give you my full review on how good it was to SLAP THOSE BALLS.

Lur Ziarrusta - Basque Superstar and 1-Wall MVP
If you've met Lur you'll know it. He buoyant personality and sense of humour lifts all around him and he's quickly become one of the most popular players in the world. On the court he's incredibly talented too, having won a couple of European Tour stops and being an MVP in a couple of big US events. On top of all this he, along with his team, are responsible for the rise of the game in the Basque Country. He's taking it to the next level there and it's amazing to see and be part of. The Basques have some of the finest facilities and players in the world.

Fronton encompasses a lot of sports where you smack a ball against a massive wall in front of you - normally with a big wall down the left side and one at the back. You can use paddles, bats and racquets, but here in Mexico they whack tennis balls with their hands. Played in Freixo, Portugal, this amazing game of handball sees a 3 on 3 scenario where you hit a kind of spongey baseball against the side of a church. It's as much skill as it is luck when the ball pings off the angles, cracks, columns and even the door. Supreme fun and part of a larger event - the CIJB European Championships. The UK Open is one of the Grand Slam events on the Euro1wall Tour. It, along with Belgium, are the two oldest tournaments, and are going from strength to strength year on year. As one of the main organisers I thought I'd do something slightly different with this video and give you an insight into what goes into running a big event like this. I moved to Alberta Canada from Ireland and I’ve been playing four wall handball out here for a good while. There’s a good community. You should play on the 60 by 30 fourwall court man- it would be great to see it introduced to the world by such a good spokesman.
Thanks man, I'd love too. I hope to be in Canada at some point over the next couple of years. Who should I reach out to there? I didn't know they had 60x30 out there! Amazing stuff!
@@BallSlaps sorry mate I should clarify, Ireland is the only place that has an active 60 by 30 game. I play 40 by 20 in Canada.
What kind of ball are they playing with? It sounds pretty heavy.
If you skip to 4.40 you can see the ball. It's like baseball but not tightly wrapped so it feels a little spongey and doesn't bounce a great deal

Back when I was 13 my first ever big nyc tourney win I win the icha junior big blue 13 and under tournament I beat Los in the finals sky rocketed me to keep playing and eventually got my A card at 24 . Thank you Paul :) legend

Wow, so cool. Looking at the Winchester game, reminds me of Tennis. If you are looking at ultimate "in play" look at the Hobart Tennis Club court, penthouse wall, between and above the windows are in play. A good vid to check this out is the 2019 world doubles championship. As a bottom of the world person, can't wait to see rackets and fives in person. I visited Queens one day in 2010 but the rackets courts were closed according to some old guy called Howard. Mentioned at a tennis gathering to remember Brad Dale that I got a call to say that there is a new member who "was about as bad as I was" The guy to my right (tennis professional) said "Fuck, no one could be tat bad". The following day on the plane, I remembered who Howard was :-(
Would like to see Oscar go to Florida to play willow 1 vs 1 on 3 wall. I think it’ll be a great game. I’ve seen him in Ft. Lauderdale but don’t think they ever played 3 wall

Nice video of the KOTC. I especially appreciate the respect that the Euro Players have for the sport of handball. Hope to see yall enter more US Tournaments. And vice versa. Hope to see more folks from the US to play out in Europe

What's wrong with the ball?
@@BallSlaps correct me if I'm wrong but it is not a normal racquetball like we use here in NY, which I believe is the best ball for the sport, I can tell by sound and sight that the feel and action of that ball is much different, it both looks and sounds heavy and slow to me, but i think you have experience with NYC handball so I'd appreciate your comparison?
Yeah it's actually faster than the Penn believe it or not. We tried to copy the Penn as we needed a yellow one for blue courts. It came back faster and became the 'euroball'. What you're probably noticing is the sound and bounce on the different surfaces though. These courts skid a bit and slow the ball down more than the concrete of New York. The Euroball in NYC was actually a bit too fast on occasion! Unfortunately we've run out of Euroballs now as they went out over COVID. We're developing a new one now which should basically be very similar to the Penn.
