2019 Nissan Altima SR (muffler delete) Part: 2 Overview
มุมมอง 18K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I drove my car to a muffler shop to remove my OEM muffler. Cut and welded on about 1.5ft of pipe along with a muffler tip with a diameter of 4 in. It give me a nice drone sound, it doesn't sound raspy, it doesn't sound to loud gives off a nice cabin sound and feel.
hey I have a 2019 Nissan Altima SR , what's your exhaust setup bro? I like what u did without it sounding too obnoxious. do u only have a muffler delete?
Will this void warranty?
Any issues with warranty doing a catback exhaust?
Does it throw any codes
No it doesn't throw any codes. Your not removing any sensors or messing with the cats.
Also excellent job on the video
Sounds nice!! Just ordered one for my 2023 Titan XD
If you get in the trunk where the spare tires at in the foam thing where the jack is at there is a front licence plate holder that you can put on the front..
will it sound the same if it’s 2.5L S model?
All 2019 models are 2.5. No more 3.5, replaced with 2.5 Turbo.
U got any check Engine lights after taking it off?
You only get check engine when you take off your from cats
What tips are those you got on?
What did you buy to put that front license plate on your Nissan ? Super cool man !
how was it done?
Fr ^
Any issues with exhaust tip temps getting to high and messing with the paint? They’re awfully close to the body panel.
I dont feel that they are close enough to cause any damage to the paint I have no issues with my exhaust tips high temps. The look and clearance along with the exhaust notes are perfect for my needs.
@@kevinraygoza8262 what side steps do you have? I’ve got the full length metal titan ones from the factory and I don’t think this exhaust will fit with those.
I recently upgraded my side steps with N-Fab N164RKRCC Textured Black Rock Rails. I am going to do a new video soon of all the mods I did to my car.
What’s black in your headlight cover
How did you get that black inside your headlights did you delete the chrome inside your headlight ?
Is this the vc turbo or no?
Yes, it’s the sr
Will this cause a check engine light?
did you make the pipping thicker “wider”
Truck sounds and looks good also do you like the general grabber apt tires? I think they handle well off-road and on road
I agree I love my tuck, they have handle properly off road and on road. I'd say its a good balanced tire. Could use a stronger side wall for off road purposes would be my take away
It could use a better side wall because you have a aggressive side of tire on the inside and boring on the outside
Honestly I didn't like them at first in my Titan either mainly bc of looks. But I cannot deny the performance especially at highway speeds (and beyond) coupled with how well they perform off road in sand, rocks and mud as well as rainy wet roads..the things just out class everything else significantly within in it's price & load range. P.S. they do really good towing over 6,500 lbs (haven't tested anything over yet)
how much money does it take to fill up the tank of gas?
55 dollars
I have a 2012 Altima 2.5L, I have N1 Exhaust pipes and I have a air intake on mine and the sound is pretty similar. One day I go to get a oil change and this guy is laughing, because I did it to a Altima and you know if it’s not a V6 or V8 you going to get a lot of hate.
Do you still have the stock resonator?
Any drone in cab
Very little drone, I mainly hear it at high speeds
Sounds great. I ordered the same kit from Z1 as well and it was drop shipped from aFe but when I got it the quality seals were busted and the parts looked like they’d been through hell and back. Did you experience anything like this? Submitted a warranty claim through Z1 so hopefully aFe makes good on this. Nice vid btw.
Thanks. I enjoy it, I'm sure you will too. Ill be uploading another video soon, post afe air intake just ordered it a couple days ago. Z1 usually is really good with making sure you get a new product, i had no issue with the install or parts.
How did you take off the muffler I’m having trouble with it.
Rebel series. Sounds and looks good. Notice an increase in seat of the pants power? I have a 2020 Pro 4X and looking for a cat back system.
Its a great cat back system definitely a noticeable difference from stock 👍
So i looked on the AFE website and it says its only for 2016 to 2019. Is that the same exhaust you chose? Part# 49-46126-B, Is this the part number you ordered? and if so what is a direct fit.
Fits: 2016+ Nissan Titan King Cab/Standard Bed (139.8" Wheelbase) with 6.6' ft bed Crew Cab/Short Bed (139.8" Wheelbase) with 5.6' ft bed Single Cab/Long Bed (139.8" Wheelbase) with 8' ft bed Don't have the part # Purchased threw z1offroad.com Oem fitment yes.
2020 Titan is the same truck when it comes to suspension, motor, wheels, and everything else. They just updated the interior changed the grill headlights and taillights.
Do u have instagram?
Is the performance and torque of the car affected by you?
“sporty”
Dear fellow Nissan owners, Please do not muffler delete. It honestly does not sound good, from experience!!! Went as far as resonator deletes and everything.
that was the problem right there
Does modification of the mufflers violate any warranty?
No exhausts can not void warranty unless it can damage the car (don’t remove the cats)
Do a fly by I cannot find any videos on the 2019 Altima only a few with no flybys thanks I’ll be waiting
TURBO?
N/A
What’s the size in diameter of the exhaust
Why would you make your car sound like this shit? Garbage!
Wow
haha it looks so goofy
i been trying to get this done but every shop tells me it will cause to much back pressure
What car u got? I was thinking about doing it to my 2020 Nissan Sentra
Nicholas Siriano same i have the sv trim, ima take it friday to get a muffler delete
hey do you have a link for those tips
They are just basic chrome tips I foun on amazon. Mine are 4 inch tips.
Sounds good, do you have the 2.0 turbo engine or the 2.5 L?
2.5 L
Bro where I can buy the rear bumper because I have a Nissan Altima 2019 s but the tip of the pipe won’t fit if I do muffler delete
I would try ebay. They have some good options on the rear bumper.
You just need to change the reflector panel and the valance panel.
Jessy Soucy where do I find these items
@@jonandash4life98 rockauto sells them.
I got a 2019 Nissan Altima s wit a 2.5 i4 engine watever that means lol. How can I make mine sound louder or better like this?
Get the mufflers replaces. Taking your car to a muffler shop would be the first step.
Kevin Raygoza cool thanks
@@kevinraygoza8262 so say my car is a lease and i have to return it to the dealership in about 3 years. So is it possible they can put it back to stock? And how much does it cost for a muffle delete like yours?
@@kevinraygoza8262 I ended up getting my mufflers deleted and getting 2 straight pipes. It definitely is louder and sounds deep but when I accelerate the deep sound goes away and goes back to sounding like normal but just louder. Ideas on how to make it stay sounding deeper?
@@zackk7779 exhaust tips
Any transmission issues or check engine lights?
like4boss williams ??
No issues at all
Can u post a video on how to do this very nice i have the same car trim as well
You have to take your car to a muffler shop. I dont have the equipment to do the install.
Is it a 2.0 or 2.5
2.5
Have u had any problems with the paint?
No I haven't.
Firaaaaa
