Hello, normally if you make a TCAS test you only hear "TCAS SYSTEM TEST OK", if the test was succesful. Otherwise you hear "TCAS SYSTEM TEST FAIL". But I have never heard that all TCAS aural messages are played during a test. How is that possible? Is that a certain maintenance extended test? Can you show how you set the test, please? Is that only possible in the A380-800? I asume that you can do that via CDU of the FMS or OIS. Thanks in advance!
Hi, it’s called BITE Test of the AESS (TCAS Aural Alert Test) performed through OMT/OIT.It will continue to repeat alerts until test is stopped
