The song, that made me an INSOMNIUM fan. Great lyrics. So true. 100 percent melancholic. Absolut amazing. I cried at first listening and i cry on, when i'm listening to it today. Propably all the people out there would understand the mess we are in, if they would listen to Metal Music.

Okay, I'm going to have to emendate, just because I truly love this song. It should be "You SHUT the doors...", not "You SHOT the doors..." Like, obviously, for real.

Few songs i listened in my life, evoke the feeling of something sacred into my soul, this is one of this songs, and this are the ones i dedicate myself to study. More than often this songs have something related with religion, in this case based on the lyrics, i believe that this song makes a reference about Judas betrayal of Christ, is very vague but theres an overall arch in the lyrics that point out to this conclusion, if not exactly as the biblical passages, but an extrapolation of the original myth, when we talk about friends betraying each other, especially in western countries, is almost impossible to avoid the comparison between Judas betrayal.

These go together so well.

Even after a million times that I've listend to it, this song hits me hard. It is making me sad, but in a good way. It talks to the soul in a way like nothing else does. The music of Insomnium is just incredibly beautiful.

Its so fucking difficult to stay grounded. To stay strong. To survive. These are for my Dad who left this world 10 days ago. I miss you so much Dad. So very fucking much.
