I Got a New Offroad Toy!
Pardon my heavy breathing. Clearly I'm out of shape! But I am looking forward to progressing on this new avenue in the offroad realm.
Mountain biking isn't something that really sparked my interest until moving out to this area, but seeing the availability of trails and they're all so close! Also it's another way of exploring different areas off pavement.

Yeah! at 00:36 in the video I show all the parts that I use to make this. What length pipe you'll need will depend on what the size of your ammo can is. So you'll need: - Ammo can - Propane hose with adjustable pressure valve - Some washers to act as shims for the joint between the pipes and the ammo can - Propane air mixer (the brass piece with the holes in it) - black iron pipe: > 5 straight lengths (mine are 3" ) > 3 T sections > 4 end caps > 2 nipples (male threaded on both sides) > A 3/4" to 1/2" adapter

That’s the guide for the tailgate, it locates the tailgates position so the latch fits correctly, if it has scrapes on it as you show in the video that means you have play in your tailgate hinge bushings letting your tailgate sag. Common with bigger tires as a spare. You should never have to change the adjustment on those unless you change hinges / tailgates

how fast does it grind things flat? Does it grind hot welds really well? How about stainless? does it make a groove well? I weld power poles, and my job restricts cutting wheels of all things. Not even really expensive ones, like, they limit workers to one cutting wheel per week, and they are the cheap ones. You make really good points, and I'd love to see if I can use this to replace my cutting wheel, or maybe even my grinding wheel if it does good enough.

Hey, thanks for the comment and questions. It grinds pretty decently, and now that you ask that, i really wish i had included that in my video to show how it grinds compared to a flap disc… might make a part 2 now… haha! But it’s a flush grinder, so it’s a bit better for blending stuff down. If i have a lot of grinding to do, i prefer a flap disc, and flap discs have a little “give to them” so you can push them into what you’re grinding without bogging down the angle grinder. BUT! It will obviously last longer than a flap wheel or grinding disc will. I don’t really use any grinding whees, just cutting discs, flap discs and this. I would also recommend checking out Nate’s video at Dirt Lifestyle. He did a video on this same disc and covers more than i covered and different things and has a different perspective on it. But, since i bought this, I’ve gone through one cutting wheel and this is still performing like new, and they do honor their lifetime warranty on it, so it’s a “buy-it-once” kind of tool. I’ve never worked with stainless, so idk that i could give you an answer there. And for making a groove. This might just be me, but this disc seems to bite and kick easier than a cutting wheel, so yes it can make a groove, but not the same as a grinding or cutting wheel. Not as “smooth” i guess? Hope that answers your questions! Man… looks like I’m gonna have to make a second video on this! Thanks! 🤣

Follow-up: this video was spot on. Mine was scraping the bottom, so I moved it all the way up, then halfway down to split the difference. The good news is - that resolved the problem. The bad news is - I way over-torqued the bottom screw and broke the shaft inside. So, I need to drill and tap out the broken screw and replace it with a new one.... and not go full retard strength on it next time around.

Great video! Can you wire the blue and white on the same pole or will that make them turn on together? I’m wanting one to turn on then turn the switch off and back on the other comes on

If the DRLs are on the same post as the floods, they’ll come on together. You could wire them both to their own switches no issue, i just wanted mine to come on with my factory DRLs.

Need to turn on your heater on full hot, fan speed is slow that lets the coolant fill up the heater core.

Yeah, when you’re burping the system? I did 👍 But now my radiator has a leak somewhere. Very very small. Still no overheating issues though.

Hey i am in portland and my rubicon started making a rattling sound after the latest ice storm. Its in the back right more noticble when in Idle.

If it’s noticeable when you’re idling, i would assume it’s NOT your tailgate. Might be exhaust? This tailgate rattle happens when you’re driving down the road going over small bumps, usually coming from the rear driver side

Sorry, I just saw this comment pop up in my notifications even though its from 9 months ago. Do you mean the 3 8-bit hearts sticker? I don't have any runescape specific stickers, but I have 3 gaming stickers. 2 of which are Metal Gear Solid.

Thank you!! Nate at Dirt Lifestyle did a review of these as well and covered but only different but a lot more than i really have the capability to test on it, and his review / comparison also has some great information. If you haven’t already watched that one or want to see even more on these wheels His end conclusion was different than mine, but i don’t disagree with his reasoning
