The Happy Diver
Australia
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 4 พ.ค. 2019
Scuba Diving is a real benefit to my mental health; my desire is for people around the world to share in the happiness that God allows me to experience in the underwater World :) Happy, I like Happy, Happy is good :)
Such a great dive with Happy Friends
I loved this dive so much :)
The water conditions were so so good, calm with really good visibility (for this area), and to top it off we had a seal swimming around us. This dive ticked so many boxes to make it so special with Adam and Emily.
The three of us were very Happy divers.
Happy is good:)

A nice Peaceful and Calming Dive
มุมมอง 364 หลายเดือนก่อน
This dive was quite nice and regenerating, feeling calm and at peace afterwards.Compared to some dives, there wasn’t a great deal to see out of the ordinary for this area, however, its was good to see different fish, the odd Crayfish, and the beautiful sponges. One of my most enjoyable parts was stopping under several of the reefs, watching the flow of the seaweed as it got swished to and fro. The Call was to find a lost Fitbit Watch
มุมมอง 794 หลายเดือนก่อน
While having fun jumping into the ocean a Fitbit Watch was lost. The call went out for The Happy Diver to try and find it. The next day the search began. Following a search pattern we searched and searched and about to call the dive, then there it was partly buried in the sand. The watch was returned to its owner with lots a smiles to be had. Such a great feeling to see happy people :) If you’r...
A really nice dive even though conditions weren’t that good for videography
มุมมอง 455 หลายเดือนก่อน
The conditions may not have been the best for videography, but the diving was still really good. I really enjoyed diving with my Dive Buddy Ray, and showing him the swim through I love going through at Breakwater Rock, near the Old Warrnambool Aquarium. One of the highlights of this dive was briefly seeing a young Western Blue Groper, Achoerodus gouldii. In the past around this time of year, I’...
While Diving to Remove Rubbish we were up and close with a Smooth Stingray
มุมมอง 605 หลายเดือนก่อน
Such a cool Scuba Dive. A main goal of this dive was to Remove Rubbish, doing our bit to keep the Marine environment that little bit cleaner. While searing for trash, it is nice to experience the water creations as well, including Smooth Stingrays. The Smooth Stingray, Bathytoshia brevicaudata (a part of the Dasyatis Family) is the largest of all Australian stingrays and thought to be one of th...
A Crayfish doing a Mad-Dash to keep a Snail

I don’t usually see Crayfish (Souter Rock Lobster) walking in the open during day light hours. This Crayfish in question seemed very determined to have this snail for itself. There were many other beautiful things we experienced, and I hope to find this video enjoyable Middle Island is also known as Penguin Island. Seaweed flowing in the water is so relaxing
มุมมอง 1319 หลายเดือนก่อน
I really enjoy watching the flow of different sea plants flowing in the ocean, whether in gentle or wild seas. This dive was no different - very peaceful and relaxing. Along with the seaweed and sponges, we have some guest appearances by Cray Fish - AKA Southern Rock Lobster (Jasus edwardsii), Magpie Perch (Cheilodactylus nigripes), Herring Cale (Olisthops cyanomelas), Scalyfin (Parma victoriae...
Diving End Bommie in the beautiful waters of Papua New Guinea
มุมมอง 18311 หลายเดือนก่อน
This was our fourth dive in beautiful Papua New Guinea (PNG). According to the staff, the water conditions were not as good as normal, however I was happy enough and got to experience so so much… I loved it. It’d be really nice to go back there one day to explore more dive sites. I invite you to sit back and relax as you watch this video of PNG’s “End Bommie”. Happy viewing :) Date: 09 July 202...
So much Colour to experience; Very beautiful dive at the Pai II Fishing Trawler Wreck dive site
มุมมอง 88ปีที่แล้ว
The Colours on this dive were so so nice. I loved diving with so many different fish species. This was the second time I’ve dived the Pai II Wreck, and would love to dive it again to explore more of it The Pai II wreck is a 30 meter long steel fishing trawler sunk by Bob Halsted. The ship sits upright, placed diagonally across the slope with the deepest part at 35m wth the deck at 25m. The mast...

Diving with a Leopard Shark and Sea Snake in Papua New Guinea, at End Bommie
มุมมอง 58ปีที่แล้ว
A very cool dive indeed. Got to sea a Leopard Shark, and a bonus of a Sea Snake that swam underneath me… like way-cool :) The Leopard Shark (Stegostoma fasciatum) belongs to the Order of carpet sharks (Orectolobiformes) having a flat belly, an elongated upper tail fin, and the mouth is in front of its small eyes, with brown leopard-like spots on its back and sides. The Leopard shark is a slow s...
Diving the Pai II Wreck in Papua New Guinea

The task was to find a Mooring Block… However it wasn’t locatable…
มุมมอง 48ปีที่แล้ว
This is one of those video’s where there’s not much to see, apart mainly of low visibility / sandy water. The Warrnambool Sub Aqua Club was given a task for the Warrnambool Lady Bay, to find a Mooring Block that had lost it’s mooring line. We had the GPS location, so it should have been an easy enough task, even with very low visibility… Not to be so. I’m thinking this mooring block had been co...

My first dive at Butterfly Bay (South), Whitsundays in Queensland
มุมมอง 98ปีที่แล้ว
On the way to the Dive Site at Butterfly Bay we stopped off at the famous Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island. While most of the other people enjoyed the beach and water, I took the opportunity to explore the Island. Some of the photos are included in this video. After exploring and back on the beach, it was time to pick up small pieces of plastic washed up onto the beach - there was so much ...

I saw you at Warrnambool and thanks for the sticker😊
Cool 😎 Hope you enjoyed Warrnambool @RI-be3dv. Thanks for your message 👍🏽👌🏽 Happy is good 😊 TH:D
are you happy
Thank you for asking @frokality 😊 I’ve had some really good days and yes, I am happy 😊 TH:D
ywah
Hi @frokality 😊 Yes, this was a nice dive. I love diving with all those underwater critters 👌🏽👍🏽 Thanks for you comment. Happy is good 😊 TH:D
Cool video 🙂
Thanks Mick 😊 Yeah, the water conditions were so good 👌🏽 Take care TH:D
I’ll let you steal my friends and claim them as yours, hahaha
😂 The eighth Commandant 😊 Would I do that 😆 This is the first time I’ve seen a seal interact like this in Warrnambool in my 30 or so years of diving here. It was a fun dive. What did you think of some of the tight holes we went through? TH:D 😊 Happy is good @RayaBelindaa
This is so so cute
You’re cuter Raya 💕 It was a great day for diving this area 😊 TH:D 👍🏽 Happy is good
Nice job. I haven't dived there in years. I need to come over some time
G’day Sean 😊 Thanks mate. This dive had the best ever conditions in my 30 years of diving this area - so so good 😊 I look forward to getting back in the water with you; it’s been a while 😊 Cheers 😊 TH:D Happy is good 👍🏽
Hi, there. I’m one of the big fans of your channel. I visited here lately after watching your video but there was no swimming signs around breakwater rock so I couldn’t get in. Could you recommend any good and safe point for snorkeling for beginner? Thanks🙏
Hi @Joelkim9999 😊 I’m so happy you like our videos 👌🏽👍🏽 Yeah, around the Breakwater Rock area can be a bit tricky when it comes to safety. A lot of the times it can be easy to get in, only to get smashed getting out. Once I saved someone from drowning in this spot. Even if you are a skilled diver, but new to this area, my recommendation is to wait till the water conditions are really good. There are two entry / exit points I mainly use. It’s hard to describe without being there. If you’re in this area again, feel free to contact me, as I can meet you there and show you, plus explain a few things to keep in mind. If you’re interested in a good spot for snorkeling. I think both sides of Middle Island are good - most times there are a lot of cool things to see. Once again I stress to make sure the water conditions are safe and only snorkel / dive to your ability. A bit of a long reply, however I hope this helps. The Warrnambool area is such a good place to dive, and hope you get to explore it. Take care👌🏽 TH:D Happy is good
And I love your face
😂 Thanks Raya :) I love the feeling after a dive 👌🏽 😘 Calm and relaxed 💜 Happy is good 👍🏽 TH:D
I always smile really big when I watch your videos!
Glad they give you happiness Raya 💙😊 I smile when I watch them too 😂 TH:D
Well done mate, it's good to see you diving again 🙂
G’day Mick 👌🏽Yeah, the ear is much better thanks 😊 Pretty cool to find the party buried watch - such a good feeling, and topping that off by returning it 😊 Cheers buddy 👍🏽 TH:D
Ps the color editing on this looks unreal x
Thanks Banana Peel 🤣 Slowly getting the hang of getting it to look similar to the way I see it underwater 😎 Cheers @RayaBelindaa 👍🏽 TH:D 😘
Dad you are such a special human. I love you! 💕
I love you too Raya 😘 Pretty cool to help some hey 😊👍🏽 TH:D
THIS IS AMAZING
Thank you @JC_action_sports 👍🏽👌🏽😊 Glad you liked it 😊 TH:D
Good job mate
Thank you Sean 👍🏽👌🏽 I’ve been enjoying your dives as well 👌🏽👍🏽 TH:D
So so beautiful. I’m glad I get to see what’s under there without actually going scuba diving haha x
Thanks @RayaBelinda 💜 Glad you’re able to experience the peacefulness of the underwater world. We’re so blessed to have this in our backyard 👌🏽👍🏽 TH:D 😊
Your tin whistle gets me every time 😍😜
😂 I still get a bit of a chuckle of it, especially when I can’t play it very well 😂 😆 I wonder if anyone else has worked out where the sound comes from 🤔 Thanks Raya 😘
Hi happy diver hope you're well How far to transpot equitment from car park to here. Any short cut
Really good question @lochuynh6615 😊 Yes there is, however to explain it is close to impossible as there are so many turns, plus I’d recommend to have a 4x4 medium SUV or bigger to get there. Then there is still a good walk to get to the water. Cheers TH:D
Beautifullll~😊
This was a really nice dive @joelkim9999 😊 I love the underwater world so much. I’m glad you liked it, thanks 😊 TH:D
Please tell me you left with a couple crays
😂 30 years ago I would have had crays in the catch-bag. These days I prefer to fill the catch-bag with rubbish (plus the odd treasure or two). Love your comment @dnzljay3971, thanks 😊 TH:D
Please tell me you left with a couple crays
G’day @dnzljay3971 😊 These days I like to leave the wildlife there. The more critters in the water the more I enjoy it 😊 Thank you for watching 👍🏽👌🏽
Ps I still don’t understand how you don’t get scared with the stingrays haha
There is a lot of respect for these beautiful creatures. Plus I think the older stingrays in Warrnambool recognise me. One example from this year: I was close to a large stingray who was in a defensive position (tail up at the ready), then when it looked at me it’s tail lowered - as if to say “I know you”. Thanks for the comment Raya 💜💙❤️
@@TheHappy777 You told me about this! So sweet! And it made me happy haha but I am stilll so scared :P
Glad it made you Happy Raya 😆 Happy is good 👌🏽 TH:D 💜
I’m so obsessed with you. You bring joy to everyone. Thank you Jesus for my beautiful dad 🙏🏻💕
Thank you darling girl 😊 Well, Happy is good 😊👌🏽He is good… 🙏🏽 Thanks Raya 😘

I loved that Chris, hopefully i get to do the same soon 🙂
Thanks Mick 😊 I loved this dive in particular too. At the moment I’m recovering from a ruptured ear drum - so no diving for me as well 😳 Cheers buddy. TH:D
Awesome!
Thank you @Joelkim9999 :) It makes me happy when people like these videos. Cheers TH:D
Perfect calming content for all ages
Yeah @danielmaher964, I find it calming too. Thanks for your comment 😊 TH:D
Honestly, do you ever get scared that a passing huge great white might mistake you for a seal?
Where is this and how deep Looks nice as
G'day @k0rdi897 :) Thanks for the comment, and yes, a very nice place to dive. This dive site is in Port Phillip Bay, Victoria, Australia. The depth we went to was 34.4 meters (almost 113 feet). TH:D
Wow! You go, Grandad ❤❤❤
Thank you my lovely girl 😘 I’m glad you liked it Jayda 😊 I was so happy when I found it. TH:D
So peaceful x
Thanks Raya :) Yeah, the underwater world can be so peaceful and relaxing; just two of the reasons why I love being under the water :) TH:D
Hello, would you be diving this site again anytime soon?
Hi @jenniferbqlau :) I have been wanting to go back here for some time now. It's such a beautiful dive spot; especially when we get to see the dragons :) It's a nice easy shore dive - love it. I'm hoping to get back there within the next couple of months - depending on time... TH:D
You’re so beautiful daddy. Good advice. I love you so much. Our God is so wonderful and good. And I’m super blessed to have a dad who loves so well. 💕💕
You're such a lovely girl Raya :) Have you got a happy place? TH:D
@@TheHappy777 hehehe yesss out walking anywhere with my baby 🐶
Yes, I think several people would have their happy place outdoors with their pet :) Like one of my happy places in the back yard with the fish :) Thanks for sharing Raya :) TH:D x
Merry Christmas mate!
Thank you @NatureScopeYT :) Hope you had a happy Christmas and New Year. Happy is good. Cheers TH:D
You are so cute dad ❤ also that big yellow fish was SO PRETTY & the snake looked so scary haha
You're cuter Raya :) I love the fish too, yes very pretty, and then even cooler - was when the snake swam in my direction, then went right under me - loved it so much :) Thanks gorgeous girl :) TH:D

Hey :) Thanks CoedMan :) While editing this video I was thinking heaps of Mum and what she would think of it, as she often commented on how much they have improved from when we first started making them :) I'm currently learning a new editing program - so hopefully the videos will keep improving... On this dive I loved how the snake went about it's business while swimming under me :) like so cool :) oh and the shark was way cool as well... and yes, Happy is good :) Love you, TH:D
I love this so much! Such a cool dive. And I love the tin whistle hehehe
Thanks darling girl 😘 Funny about the tin whistle 😂 TH:D
I just watched this while I was in the cold plunge and it made it SO much harder hahaha I’m not watching your ocean videos in my ice bath ever again lol 🤪 I can imagine how cold your water will be down there! 🤪
😂 You’re funny Raya 💜 I’ve broken the ice in your plunge bath and it is a lot colder than this dive of 17C ha ha 😊 Did you recognise the background in the thumbnail? Love getting your comments, thanks 😘 TH:D
HAHAHA I would rather the ice plunge any day :P@@TheHappy777
mmm... well, I do enjoy your ice plunge too :) Now that I dive in a Dry Suit, I don't feel the cold like I used to ha ha :) TH:D

Thanks Raya :) Glad you liked it :) TH:D
Even just the jumping in part would scare me hahaha with flippers on and all the heavy weight on my back 😂
