oh boy do i have some history with this song
August 20th, 2023 is when this custom was first released by venomwave and when i saw this chart i was immediately was hooked on getting the first ever tech fc and from august 28th-30th i was only missing 1 section!
1 month passes, 2 months pass, 5 months pass, a YEAR passes and still no finished tech, i began to lose hope..
to make things worse about a month ago i accidentally formatted my harddrive which had the recordings for all the other sections so i had pretty much given up on it until about 3 days ago where i decided that i NEEDED to finish this
i managed to regain all the progress i had but i still had one section left, and it was the same section i left last before..
Sector 30. (at 1:50)
Sector 30 took me over a YEAR AND A HALF TO HIT, that one section was what was stopping me from finishing this tech and man did that one section put me through HELL
countless -1s chokes on the second to last chord and even a choke on the last chord,
i legitimately did not think it was possible for me to hit but i didnt give up and with each -1 i was getting closer and closer until finally...
today at 8:07pm on december 25th 2024 i finally did it i finally finished this tech fc (no pun intended) that i had only dreamed of having.
as for how hard this actually is, im sure someone else with much better chord dexterity and can somewhat slide could finish this tech in much less time than i did but i dont care this is my best accomplishment not because of how hard it is (sort of) but of the amount of effort i put into making this happen and honestly i wouldnt have been able to do it by myself so here are some shoutouts
ian - when i had heard you hit sector 30 before me i was upset but also relieved that i thought i didnt have to go for this anymore but when i came back to it it also gave me the motivation to push through and finish it once and for all.
Venom - ofc for making this custom and showing me how it feels to grind something for THIS LONG.
everyone in egg - you guys always supported me throughout my journey of finishing this tech and i doubt i wouldve ever finished it if it werent for you guys.
and thank you everybody for being here on this journey of my progression for this game whether you were here from the beginning or if you are just finding me out.
