My second single, 𝓔𝔁𝓹𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼, along with its music video, is officially out on TH-cam and all major streaming platforms! 💙🎶
This song has a special place in my heart. It all started back in high school as a song I wrote for a music class assignment. The inspiration came from the challenge of juggling everything-high school, olympiads, extracurriculars, SAT prep, music lessons, and, of course, social life.
As time went on and I achieved my dream of studying at MIT, I decided to give the song a new life, rewriting parts of it and adding new lyrics and melodies.
The music video came together during my summer internship in Korea. I reached out to my childhood best friend @rizkiana, who gathered our middle school friends-now film majors-to help bring the vision to life. Fun fact: despite going to nearby middle schools, the film crews just met in person for the first time on the actual shoot day! We had countless late-night Zoom calls (until 2 AM KST!) to make sure everything was in place, all while balancing my internship. And finally, after I came back to Indonesia and went through 12 hours of shooting, the music video was made. It was definitely an interesting and unforgettable time.
We’ve poured so much love and effort into this project, and I hope you can feel that when you listen. I’m so excited to finally share 𝓔𝔁𝓹𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼 with you! 🙆🏻‍♀️💙
