I beat him today on my first playthrough even though i died a lot but finaly got him and i dont use anything aside from dodging and hiting
So this is late but whenever you do the opener attack it’s actually better to jump and use mortal draw mid air because for some reason it does a lot more damage

As long as this memory is unlocked, I understand you can kill him after Isshin SS and still get Purification ending, just do not talk to Kuro.

It costs. When you run out of emblems, it automatically turn to mortal blade (shorter range, lesser damage).

Omg thank you!!!!! The mortal blade destroys this traitorous piece of shit!!! This fucker is HARD!!!!!! Fought him for 3 god damn hours and got my ass handed to me. Only to come out on top by studying his moves and being aggressive!!! Thanks to this video I found out using the mortal blade is probably the best way to beat him!!!!!

@@scuppo no. I am currently watching afrosenju. He had three full videos of him raging against the owl father and died countless times. Fightingcowboy had already completed the game many times and that also wasn’t his first attempt that playthrough. I have beaten every soulsborne boss in less than 2 attempts apart from Laurence, champion gundyr,orphan, soul of cinder,artorius and darklurker but this boss is just different

Do it without mortal blade? I'm doing my first run through without using mortal blade since I heard it's broken/op. It does so much damage. I used floating cloud passage to chip away through guard along with normal attacks then Ichimonjii after his life lower than half. It's hard for me, doing so little damage and staying focused long enough. Although I think it's be easy now that I've beat him once. Nice video though. No cheese is good.
Yeah. He’s my favorite boss. I have a video fighting him with sword only, but it is quite tough.

I would be happy to go do more bosses if I thought it would make a difference. I just looks like you are doing more damage than I am.
@@tomthefox8909 My att power is 12 and prayer bead is 10 (max). Don't farm attack power as it makes little difference. The key to this fight is to learn his move sets, almost no tricks since latest patch. I had very hard time fighting him but then one day I did it :) and I hope you can do. Also, check if you have any emblems left, emblems give you more powerful mortal attacks.

How do you have unlimited mortal draw ?
It has default unlimited use. When you're out of emblems, the damage is lower, shorter-ranged but you still can use.
