If you bought it new and didn't neglect service, it kia have 100,000 miles of warranty if it was any other ford gmc honda toyota exct your out a few thousand dollars

You made it look so simple with removing that cable. I had a hard time removing it and even harder time putting that cable back. Do you have any suggestions?

yep total Junk Hyundai is.. they don't do a good job cleaning up the burrs on crank, bearings get contaminated and spin... pieces of sh!t

It happened to my non turbo veloster few days back. Few bearings near the crankshaft is gone. Prolly need a new motor and fixing it could cost as same as getting an engine. 😭

Going to need a new motor. Mine is in the same position and is getting motor replaced this week at a Hyundai dealership. I have an extended warranty on my 2016 VT. It was making the exact same sound. That sound is an Engine Rod knock.

My 2013 veloster turbo is doing this same thing. I just changed the timing chain and it still makes this noise . What els could it be?!?!?😢
