Great shots Craig, I've still never been to this waterfall for some reason!
lmao. it's gloves. Get the ones you have laying around guv.
Thanks for watching
Hi Craig, great video , I have been planning a trip to the great ocean road from New Zealand. Can you recommend places to stay in the area as I am struggling to find many. Keep up the good work.
I have already visited your TH-cam channel and researched deeply. I really appreciate your video quality is amazing. But not many views, not many subscribers. Because many errors in your channel. Like tag sections, description, title, keywords are many errors in your channel. As a result your video SEO score is very low. So I recommend you need to proper SEO and PROMOTION. And if you want you can boost. Then increase lot's of views and subscribers in your channel. As a result you get monetize option.
Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my channel I'm still very new at youtube and learning how it all works I'll have a look the your suggestions and try to navigate them Thank you
@@craigrichards5621If you want any help you can tell me. welcome
"Leofoto is great if you prefer a minimalist design and lightweight build, but SmallRig wins when it comes to added functionality. 🤔🔍"
I think you might have this backwards? The Leoforo has more features then the SmallRig grip
Oh well --- the background is so nicely sharp , but neither are you nor the camera with the grip ( from 5:40 on ) -- it is really a shame.
Thanks for the feedback im still learning how to video myself
You are leaving your sensor exposed when changing lenses. My recommendation is, when turned on, take the battery out put it back and then turn off the camera, that will close the shutter curtain (I hope this is not good for it).
I'll have to give this a try thank you. It has been a pet peeve of mine since moving to mirrorless back in 2018
Show pictures as you take them please! I was worried you wouldn't show them at all
Thanks for the feedback, ill show the photo as I take them next time
Pitty sbout the anchor, but some lovely shots there at the end with those clouds
Nice work Craig. It was a shame about the anchor being hidden under the sand .. but I suppose that's what you get down your way . .and it makes the chase all the more special.
Very nicely put together Craig. Thank you for taking us along with you. I'm glad it was you doing the hard work back up them steps cobber.🤠
What a great video Craig. Well done mate. Love that location as well.
Very nice shots.
They are all awesome shots Craig, well done mate. That's a beautiful spot just to see the sunrise isn't it.
Lovely shots of Henderson, like the incorporation of the mushroom
Thank you Christine I’d love to go back here when there was a more water flowing over
Awesome spot
🎉🎉 what a beauty
Hey Kaan 👋🏻
Interesting, but why all these selfies???
Hey im still learning how to talk to the camera and make videos I'll try to add some more showing my camera and settings
I was at Beech Forrest earlier this week and visited the Redwoods. I thought about going to Beauchamp Falls but decided against it as I believe that access is more difficult than Hopetoun Falls. Is that correct please?
Hi Allan Beauchamp falls is a bit more difficult but not bad it’s probably on the same level as the Hopetoun Falls walk just longer If you take your time it’s pretty easy going just don’t rush back to the top
@@craigrichards5621 thanks. I'm not sure I would do it them, my knee didn't like Hopetoun Falls on the decent. Good to know though.
Well done Richo !! Good video mate I like the first image mate. We were down that way the other day would of liked to have caught up but we were super busy
Hey Woody, thanks mate. It’s all good I know how busy workshops can be. Maybe next time we will catch up
@@craigrichards5621 definitely next time mate or if you’re ever up my way
awesome shot
I so need to come across from NZ and do the great ocean road.......
Nice work mate .. beautiful location.
Nice one!
Thanks Darren
Noticed you have a "silence corner" bracket for your camera. Absolutely love mine
Beautiful Images.
Excellent video , very nicely done, but for the life of me i can never understand why you have to keep it secret.
Well it’s not a secret, I tell you in the video the name of the location. It is important to be careful when sharing locations that aren’t ready for an influx of visitors. The location is almost pristine but there are no bins for rubbish or defined and well maintained walking tracks here, so it’s important to look after places like this one
@Craig Richards Fair enough and yes I have come across photographers who don't really care if they cause any damage.
Great video Craig, good reminder to get back there.
Thanks Carmel it’s a great spot and no crowds
Great work Craig. Enjoyed the video mate. Love Childers Cove.
Thanks Richard I fumbled through it a bit I might need to have a bit of a script to follow in the future
That was very interesting and enjoyable to watch Craig . Thank you for sharing .
Thanks Selina I’m glad you enjoyed it
Great video. Love how you tell us the settings. As a starting point for us . Can't wait for the next video.
Thanks Fran
Excellent
Thanks Jimmy
Fantastic work there Craig. I've not been to that waterfall but it looks very inviting indeed. Good to see you out and about mate.
Thanks Richard You will have to step out during the day sometime and mix it up with some daytime photography I’m counting down the return of the Milky Way I have a shot in mind that I want to get in the high county this year
@@craigrichards5621 Awesome, can't wait to see what you have in mind.
Fantastic photos Craig 👌 it looks like a beautiful place.
Thanks Dennis it is a beautiful place I missed being able to go here when it’s was closed for two years
Great little vlog mate! I plan to visit the Otways sometime this year. You're lucky to live in such a pristine spot ✌🏼
Thanks Andy. It’s about an hour and a half drive for me to get here I’m very lucky and love where I live in Warrnambool
Great photo Craig, well done
Awesome work mate. That lens looks stella for sure.
Thanks Richard
Was this on the 24th July 2020? If so you’re definitely the guy with the camera setup that I passed on the descent.
Great effort and the final shot looks amazing! 😄
Thank you Duy
which plate did you use it to mount it on the arca swiss head?
Z6 or Z7 ?
Hi I’m shooting the the Z6
@@craigrichards5621 Woah, looks amazing. I think you use the z7 to shooting. 🤩
Great to see another Aussie doing YT videos, Craig. Can I suggest you buy a Rode Wireless Go plus a Rode lav. It will improve your audio out of sight. Ideally you would run it through an external recorder, but until then, go the Go. Btw, Rode is an Aussie coy. Good luck with your future videos.
Hi Andrew I actually do have a rode micro go unfortunately I left the adapter for my iPhone at home I would have re-shot this vlog if it wasn’t for the lockdown and the limited time I have the lens for I’ll check and double check that I have the adapter next time 😁
Looks like a great lens!
Good review and how is the weather sealing compared with the F mount 70-200 f2.8 E lens.
what is the red Z7 camera holder you use?
Hi, Peter, it is a three-legged thing L-bracket www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/3-legged-thing-zelda-l-bracket-for-nikon-z
@@craigrichards5621 Thank you Craig, just bought one!
Thanks Craig. Excellent!
6:07 where you are filming would be real nice pictures, a bit wider and some foreground and waterfall in background. Lift the shadows a bit..
Thanks for the feedback man I'm filming these videos with my iPhone at the moment so the dynamic range is rubbish hopefully I can get a better camera to make these videos shortly
