Another great review. I too have endured the Wrong Turn films, and you are quite right, they re not good films. the first had some interesting ideas and was a bit of fun as it was something a bit different, but after that they became almost comical. i did rather enjoy the 2021 film though. I went into it think I might just be torturing myself, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have to wonder if they might not follow up the newest one with something really bad. hopefully they will just leave it t that I sadly think that will likely not be the case. I have to check your channel regularly now, the You-tubes isn't letting me know when you release content. keep up the good work, and good luck on your summer season.

I have seen the ritual, and was truly impressed with the creature. its a shame it didn't get more screen time, but then I suppose you can have the monster stealing the show and taking up all the movie for themselves. I adore Del Toro's films, he has such a wonderful vision, his films seem almost like dark fairy tales. its a shame some of them haven't been dubbed into English though, as I am unable to share them with my non-spanish speaking friends, as they are a little to impatient for sub titles.

Another brilliant episode, thank you. I loved the Exorcist. I got very sick as a child, and had three video tapes to watch while I was recovering, and the Exorcist was one of them. I cannot count the number of times I have seen it. It was great that they released the extended version, with some of the missing scenes, although, they didn't really add anything to the story, as such. I didn't like the to sequels to the film though. The Exorcist II just seemed rather confused, and didn't really seem to know what it wanted to be. The third one was watchable, but didn't capture the feel of the original in any way really. any way, keep up the good work. I look forward to your next episode.

I wasn't aware of the Albert Finney "Scrooge", but I do love the George C. Scott "A Christmas Carol" from 1984, and of course Michael Caine in "A Muppet Christmas Carol". I have tried, unsuccessfully, to convince my youngest child to watch your selection of films with em. I am thinking that if I simply put them on, and seem to be having a very good time, they might just have to join me to see what its all about. we shall see. I am rather surprised that you haven't seen Black Christmas. it is a film that is going to be foisted upon me again. I am interested to see the remake they did a few years ago.

I really did enjoy Archive 81. I actually watched it twice, because I had forgotten I had already watched it. I watch so much that it can get a little tricky keeping up with what I have seen, and what I have yet to see. I loved the fact that every episode led to further discoveries. there was not single one that left me feeling that I had just watched filler episode. I have to add to my statement last video about Wednesday. I found that there were definite parallels to both supernatural, and Sabrina, but what kept coming to mind for me, was Scooby Doo. Good to see you again. keep up the good work. look forward to seeing you next week.

After watching the series, I couldn’t help but feel let down. The comparison you make to Sabrina couldn’t be more accurate, and it’s appeal will likely fall on a younger generation. It definitely has a strong following, but the real question is will it survive a second season…. Probably. Will I be watching… probably not. Definitely gonna check out Archive 81. It’s been in my que for a long time.

What a good review. Its nice to see that you are being genuine about your views. many people woudl have only parroted what the popular masses had to say about the series, to garner views. but you are, as usual, truly inividual in you dealings with the subject. I have recently finished the series myself, and while it certainly did divert from the source material, if you were unfamiliar with that material, you might find it entertaining. I won't give anything away, but I have several issues plot wise about the series, but I shall keep those to myself for now. Keep up the good work, and keep them coming.

A great review. So much of today's writing in TV and movies is trite and hackneyed, relying on SFX and cheap laughs (which often aren't funny at all). I will walk away from a show after one episode if it doesn't present anything interesting. Same with books and movies - I won't waste my time on bad writing/acting no matter how disappointed I am. Looking forward to more Opinionated Monstrosity! <3
