A collection of videos, mostly dirt bike lately. Myself and a few mates getting out and about and having fun. A bit of fishing including “The Big Kingy” which if caught locally would be an Australian record on 6kg line class. A couple of early flying vids and of course the occasional Adv bike ride. Enjoy.
The CZ project.
A very satisfying, but time consuming project. Hand cut checkering onto the stock of a CZ rifle. The timber is Beech, which is not the best to work with and raised a few challenges. But anyway, I hope you get something out of the video. It documents the laying out and setup process and the tools used.

Ladakh Part 9.

The final instalment of my 13 day expedition to Ladakh, Northern India. Josh speaks of the oscillations of experience. Feeling low at high altitude. Cold on minute on a high pass, then sweating in the valleys. Eating Masala 2 minute noodles at a roadside cafe for lunch, then a feast and a five star accommodation that night. This trip had it all. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Cheers. i...

Today, I was struggling with the chest infection and altitude. Everything was hard work, so there wasn’t a lot of footage, off the bike. Ended up on Oxygen therapy overnight, which got me through. A last dose the next morning before riding kept me fit enough to ride, but it was a struggle until we got down to lower altitude.

A few challenges along the road today and another increase in altitude. My health deteriorated along with the Oxygen, but I made another day. The views were well worth it.

A relatively uneventful day after the planned route across a high pass was thwarted by roadworks. We did get to Leh in time to get Jays hand X rayed. Two broken fingers.
Ladakh Part 3

Day 2 of riding. We complete our first high pass. The Himalayan 450s performing well, despite the Altitude. Jay has a minor off on a bend and though there is minimal damage to the bike, he breaks 2 fingers. It could have been a lot worse though.

Today we visit a couple of ancient Monasteries. The site of one, dating back 2,000 years. Dice with death, with crazy Indian drivers and lunch at an award winning Restaraunt. Ending up at Hotel Grand Moonland and another splash of culture as the sun sets over the Moonscape vista.

Today we travel down from Kalopani to Pokhara. Spectacular scenery, some great roads and the mother of all suspension bridges. Two Wheeled Expeditions service, outstanding as always. The Royal Enfield Himalayan bikes chug along, reliable as ever.

Returning from up there was like coming back to the real world after leaving middle earth. It was great to be able to breathe again too. The thin air makes it hard to sleep and saps your energy, although none of us suffered altitude sickness.

Click bait! And there I was thinking you had bought a classic CZ motocross bike to restore! Nonetheless a fantastic job by a true craftsman.
I’m not sure how you got clickbait from this one, but I'm glad you liked the video. Ha Ha a generic answer to your reply pops up. Wouldn’t mind a classic CZ to restore either.

Is this trip sponsored by Royal Enfield
No not at all. It is not a sponsored trip. I paid to travel with TWE Two Wheeled Expeditions. But after riding on the old 411 Himalayan, the 450 was a big step up. Nice to be riding a new bike in a remote area, which has brakes and suspension.

Grate video and great weather What time of year did you do that trip ?
Last 2 weeks of August. Apparently it had been unseasonably warm. Lots of snow melt in the rivers and quite warm in the valleys.
Very beautiful place🎉❤
I wish I could help you I have work as a doctor at Leh general hospital . If you were there here would have helped you with medicine and amenities. @@Muffinshenoy thank you for your thoughts. I appreciate the offer. The day that Jay went for treatment, there had been a bad bus crash and 22 people had injuries more serious than his broken fingers. He was able to manage the pain with medication and continued on for the whole expedition.
If you see a yellow number board anywhere in India, assume that he's an 'experienced' idiot and have no clue about traffic rules or driving. And if he make a mistake and hits you, the crowd with a mob mentality assumes that it's your fault because the YELLOWBOARD is a so called 'experienced' idiot and you're a noobie, even though your brain capacity is a million times than that YELLOWBOARD. Rule number 1 of driving in India : Assume a YELLOWBOARD is an 'experienced idiot'
Those YELLOWBOARDs who drive on hilly areas like Himachal, have no sense of driving and they think a highway is a racetrack. They can come on your lane from the opposite side without any concern. Many Indians encourage their dangerous driving saying they are some heroes but in truth, they don't know any dangers of driving until they die and the cops don't take any action. There's no concept of lane discipline in India Be careful. I'm saying as an Indian
1.40. Indian Drivers are the rudest in the world. As an Indian, I completely agree. Totally no concern for others. Especially watch for YELLOW numberboards, those don't care even if you die and most of them have no clue about traffic rules or driving. The older or more experienced they are, the more dangerous they are Indians claim they are the best drivers in the world just because they can navigate the chaos in Indian Highways, but that's not true, they simply don't understand the physics or dangers of dangerous driving or high speeds
I new to vogl, no kno to bike, what good motor cycle driving. 😊😊
Hi Jenkin, Great vlog, love the way you showcase the pictorially n digramaticaly the routes and destinations. Once again thanks for rewinding n reminiscing my memories of yesteryears of the roads and landscape. They are majestic.

Hey I don't know what software you are using for this video edit but the zoom in and out makes the video looks very soft and not sharp for a 1080p video. Example: check 12:42 That said, I really like this one.
@@Gokul-qk4un Thanks I will keep that in mind. It possibly has more to do with the cameras angle which focused on the screen of the bike a lot of the time. I didn’t notice this at the time in low res preview mode.

Ladakh is my favorite tourist destination in the entire world. I am not fascinated by greenary or colorful lakes and flowers. I am fascinated by those huge bald mountains on which not even a little glass grows. You stand and you see only barren mountains and land for miles and no vegetation. I am fascinated by that.😍
Indeed, it is a beautiful part of the world.
Pangong lake must watch in ladakh ❤

I like these type of videos but why aren't people liking the video. Is there any technical glitch?
@@roopeshnani I’m not sure. I’m just doing these for family and friends. If others like them, great. If not, that’s OK too.
