Smashing a BRAND NEW GUITAR!
มุมมอง 2767 หลายเดือนก่อน
Recently I purchased my very first electric guitar. When it arrived at my doorstep, it was incomplete. Rather than sending me the missing part, or have me ship the guitar back to them to be fixed, Fender's policy is that they will replace the guitar once it has been rendered "unplayable." That being the case, I took the opportunity to have a little fun! 00:00:00 Intro 00:00:35 Guitar Smash

I always knew there was just something very special about the Tandy 3100. I used to have that computer, and I've been kicking myself for getting rid of it a couple of decades ago.
@@Watcher3223 It’s a great machine. I love using it.
@@Watcher3223 You never know… maybe I have your old machine!
@@andystandys It's possible. But it would have had some upgrades that you would likely have kept, especially the VESA video RAM upgrade to 1 MB and an Intel Overdrive 486DX4 100 CPU.

@@stef7768 I don’t know, for sure. I have no Android devices to test it on.
What about live streaming on social media platform ? Can we do it straight from the SP with USB C ?
I have never tested that out, but I assume it could be done.
Where did you get the DXF layer with just the utouts?
www.roland.com/global/support/by_product/sp-404mk2/updates_drivers/0d876b7e-4391-4a4f-802c-60898d3feba9/
I've been using a rode podmic with it. But after some processing, the noise floor is increased. Should i buy a cloudlifter for it or there's other solutions available?
I haven't really experienced that issue with the work that I do, and I've never used a Cloudlifter before... It might be worth a try?
What V Mount battery are you using to PD power delivery to your z6III? We have tried over 12 different brands and none of them will power ( either mains or PD charge ) the z6III. ALL of our current V Mount batteries work perfectly with our Z6II however. Upon reading the Nikon white papers, it seems Nikon has decided to disable most V Mount battery operation with the Nikon Z6III. This makes pro location work nearly impossible at the moment.
To be honest, I have not used a V-mount battery with my Z6iii. I have only owned it a couple of weeks and have only used it on one shoot, so far, on my gimbal using the included EN-EL15c battery. I found a comment on a thread regarding the issue you've brought up: "It will work with a v-mount battery using the USB-C port with a PD-designated USB-C cable. Data cables will not power the Z6iii while shooting, but appear to trickle charge it when off " Have you experimented with different USB-C cables?
@@andystandys Most of them including Nikon's own high speed charge cable that comes with the Z6III, no go. However, I have a replacement V Mount power distribution bracket coming that is specific to the wattage the Z6III requires for Power Delivery and charge. It has a single USB-C PD port that is supposed to output the correct MAh. But up here in the Northwest, Amazon is SLOW.
I've had this for years and learned something new today. Thank you

to hell with the sequencer i am just going to use it as a sound model attached to the computer . i would loose all the beats in my head by the time i work this out.
In the machine's defense, most people aren't going to use it this way. Most people will just be making 4-4 beats.
Thanks for these tips. I'm a multi-instrumentalist and want to be able to record one instrument, then listen to that track while I record a second one and so on. Is it possible to do that with the H6?
@@stephenrosenberg2666 Unfortunately, no - it can’t do that.

thank you very much Sir I am definitely getting this device. I just subscribed. you doing a great work. Which lens are you using on this video if I may ask?
Most of the shots were just taken on my iPhone, but some of those behind-the-scenes interview shots or any shot that has a shallow depth of field would have been with my 28mm lens on my Nikon Z6II. The shot of me speaking with the purple background would have been my 50mm 1.8 lens.

@andystandys Fair enough (lol), but who's paying who?
can you change the tuning of the individual bass notes like in the actual song...
@@kryticaldepth5220 Sort of. You can manually turn the tuning knob on the bass drum as it plays, but you can’t record those changes permanently into the sequence.

@@YTPAJ12 I would recommend getting lavaliere mics for all five people. The Comica Lav mics I purchased off Amazon are decent.
Randy, can you post links or tell us where you got the cables shown at around 5:58 please!
The red cables are from DJ Tech Tools. Just Google that and you'll find their site. The gray braided cables are J&D brand bought off of Amazon. The XLR cable is just a standard cable, not sure where I got it.

Hands down the Ronald SC-88 VL sounds the best !
Thanks Andy, great tutorial. Could you please tell me if you can create a more "acoustic drum sound" with the Behringer RD8? All what I hear is so electronic to my ears from that machine. Cheers.
Glad you liked the video. No, the RD-8 only has the one set of sounds. You can tweak the sounds by turning the knobs, but they are only the classic 808 type drums.
@@andystandys Can you recommend me a drum machine (hardware) with real acoustic drum sounds?
@@Mackie-t9y The only thing I could recommend that I have personally used is the Roland SP-404 Mk2. It's a sampler, not specifically a drum machine, but you could load it up with any acoustic drum samples you like. It's a great machine.

Glad it was helpful!
I think the bugs might have been cockroaches. See 14:48. There is a body near your left hand that hasn't decayed completely. Roaches are the most common bug found in household/office environment. They are also obsessed to heat sources that are not in the open. A computer like this is the perfect definition of a hive. I hope it helps answering you and fellow viewers' question about the bug.
Thanks, for this. I think you are right. Someone else had also mentioned cockroaches, as well, so it seems to be the general consensus!
This is golden. You put me in a whole 'nother direction. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi, May you please share the links to the Boom set up, with the shot gun mic, stand, etc :)
The shotgun mic is a Sennheiser MKE 600, or equivalent. I think the one I have may be an older model. It's a good mic, but it isn't exactly cheap. You may be able to find a cheaper shotgun mic that works as well. The boom stand I have is a Cameron LS-65B Boom Stand. Again, if you can't find that specific one, you can probably get something very similar. Other than that, you'll need an XLR cable.
@@andystandys Awesome, thank you andy -- whats the length of your XLR cable? Also was the H6 recording separate audio from the camera or you synced through a cable?
@@GeorgeJefff I think I normally use a 25 ft. cable. I have a few different lengths. I sync the cameras to the H6 by running a 3.5 mm cable out of the Line Out jack of the Zoom and into the mic jacks on the cameras.
