Happening now to my 6 year old British bulldog. He's been given antibiotics and anti inflammatories. Review in a week. Pure bright blood dripping out. He seems OK it's me who's panicked.

What antibiotics good for that case?

I just found out my Labrabull has this! She's only 5 months old! 😢

how to prevent it

My dog just got diagnosed with this. Not a very severe case. He gets very excited which is very likely the cause for him. My vet did recommend surgery but she also said we can try and let it heal on it’s own within the next two weeks by behavior changes, taking away any toys or other factors that cause him to overly excite himself. We also have to change the things we do that may excite him so it’s very difficult but we’re very hopeful

I saw this when first posted and watched again today because good ole Elwood Jenkins tore his "acl" the other day (diagnosed by Dr. Chrisine and Dr. Andrea) with surgery scheduled this Friday. Of course I've been agonizing over getting even a 3rd opinion because I'm terrified of putting us through this surgery if it's not needed, possible hip issue, etc. Thanks for putting my mind more at ease. Sounds like the diagnosis is spot on and bulldogs do pretty well after this type of surgery. Appreciate the piece of mind. Thanks "long time ago" Adam! Good looking out! : )

I have an American bully. He’s not urinating blood but it looks like he’s on his period. I took him to the ER vet and they sdiagnosrd him with a urethral prolapse

Nice work , Thank you do you have any more info on this ? are 1 1/2 year old acting lame in his rear leg and it's been going on for a month or so we suspect it might have happened by him jumping out of the car window after we had frist gotten him , We left him in the car with the windows rolled down while we had went into the supermarket to go shopping and we got called to the by the intercom told that are dog was roaming around so we thought he might have gotten out of the window somehow then shortly after that he had done it outside in front of her house while i ran in the house we noticed him acting funny and dragging and acting weak and lame in his left hind leg shortly after that so we have been extra care in making sure he doesn't jump or something when his left in the car , but his leg doesn't seem to get better only when he really has to or wants something does he acts like it all good, he drags sometimes like he is lazy or got a bum leg.

My dog had this and we got antibiotics and inflammatory meds and after about a month or less it went away .. will it happens again what are the chances cause I’ve hear even getting the surgery was not 100% affective

I have a 10 week old and at her initial consultation before I took her home the vet put possible poor vulva conformation? I was planning on breeder her. Will this be an issue? Is this something she can outgrow or even something that can be diagnosed at an 8 week visit?

Thanks Doc. I have a French bull dog and he has red patches, bald pathches and also is turning bald. He was under antibiotics or steroids but as you suggested even the doc in Dubai suggested not to continue but try to look at some medium medication. My pet is been struggling for over 8 months now and he is on hypoalleric diet currently.

My bully is mostly white and has rust around his tail that curls. I believe it's a yeast related problem, due to the heat and moisture. What powder would you recommend? Would apple cider vinegar help? Thanks for any info.
