It was though this game that I learned about how in Japan, the 'Commander for a day' sash that Mao-Mao wears is an actual thing that they do for celebrities in real life, giving them an officer commission in the SDF airforce for a single day for PR..... With the joke about her character being that what if a cute girl idol pop singer actually moonlights as a badass fighter ace as well, with them giving her a the one-day commission in the airforce whenever they need her, before sending her back to being a singer.
