Hey buddy. I don't have much experience in midi since I'm no using it. I guess you'll need to plug both midi out to the focusrite so Superior Drummer understands you're plugging 20 different inputs. I'm not sure if you can route a whole bunch of midi inputs trhough the second module separately.

Thanks a lot. I use Y cables to separate tom´s head and rim. The extra cymbals are triggered from the rim´s channels. All sounds from the same module.

Thanks a lot dude! It depends if you want to use it through a stereo or a mono channel because mono ones can't trigger crashes or rides. Appart from that, I think you can use either roland or yamaha with full characteristics if you make certain modification inside the cymbal (look for any tutorial about it) because you loose the chocking and the bell with 2box brain. I'm not sure if this happens both in stereo and mono or only in mono configuration. I'm using yamaha cymbals because of the price. The PCY 100 works perfectly and the PCY135 just works in a sector of the pad because of the piezo inside. You can change the piezo or you can lock the cymbal with the piece it has so you always play in the same area. I guess the PCY 155 is similar. About playability they work perfectly. I'm triggering them through the rim's channels and the threshold is just the same as the rest of the kit. Also they are a bit quiter than 2box because they just have rubber in the edge. The last good thing is that you can record 2box's cymbal sounds with your laptop, upload the files in the brain and sample them in Yamaha ones (for example if you want an extra crash and you just have one mono channel left) but remember you won't have choking at first. If you look for my other videos you'll see I have a right hihat which sound is the left one recorded and sampled. Too much text but answer me if you have any doubt. Keep it up!

Nice ! thanks man. So, i found that the drumit module has a extra port to connect an extra cymbal, if i buy a yamaha PCY 100 and plug on this extra port, i`ll be allowed to use the 3 zones ? Is there any adjustment that i need to do on the module ? Another question, that i`ll be very grateful with you can answer me is the length of the major pipe of the rack, because im thinking on put they in a bag and i`d like to know with they will fit on my bag. Just to you know, i don't have these drum, i`m asking these because i`m trying to buy some and bring on these bag.

As far as I know you don't have to make any adjustment in the brain but I don't know if you have 3 zones without changing the Yamaha cymbal. I bought a normal PCY 100 yamaha cymbal, I recorded the 2box hi-hat untill I had a good sound and I triggered it through the new one. With 2Box you can trigger everything you upload in the brain. I use it in an orchestra to play timpanis that I recorded from a music writting program and that sounds really good. I've triggered tubular bells, a hammer and even cannons. You could record your dog and trigger it in any pad you want.

The sounds you have are prepared for the hi-hat pad. If you trigger them in a pad without hi-hat pedal it sounds like an open hi-hat because they're made to have 4-5 different dinamics depending on the aperture of the pedal you've previously set. So no, you can't trigger a closed hi-hat in anything else than the hi-hat itself, unless you do what I told you. You can trigger an open one, which is completely open, so I think it's not very playable.

If you have an electronic kit you can re-record your own hihat sound through your PC as if you were recording a track to trigger it. You just have to adjust the file before uploading it so the trigger is in time. If you don't I suggest you to look in any page because Ive never used them a lot so you can try. Other thing you can do is recording it from youtube. I used this one for my cannon efect for example: th-cam.com/video/9mE162kNOB8/w-d-xo.html Any way if you want to have 2 hihats in your kit it would be better if you record your own one because if you don't you'll have 2 very different sounds for hihats that (normally) are very similar if not the same one

Of course! You can separate your stereo channels with Y cables. You loose the rims but you gain 4 or 5 mono channels.

You mean you can split these with standard Y cables? Not those $20 ones made for Roland drums?

Cos Roland drums you can't split unless you have a certain cable that they make for $20, but I'm even more so leaning to the 2Box kit

Recalibrate it in a little bit different position and unlocking the pedal to do it. If you do it in the exact same position it doesn't work
