Dish Soap Resist Painting
Ever wanted to create your own abstract line painting? Follow along and I'll show you how to make some really cool art using acrylics, gel dish soap, and spray paint!
Supplies you need to make this project:
acrylic paint (matte finish)
gel dish soap
black spray paint (matte or satin finish)
stretched canvas or canvas panel
2" or 3" wide paint brush
access to a hose with water
*optional spoon and bowl for drizzling soap

Jeremy do you need to let the paint dry before putting soap on it and do you need to let it dry after spraying the black?
Should the dish soap be dry before spraying with spray paint?

This is really fun, just don't use dollar tree acrylics as they will wash out of the canvas. I think they lie about them being acrylic because they shouldn't wash out. No I didn't accidentally use the tempera paints they also have there.
Pretty 😍 cool 😎 I haven't seen gel dish soap yet but haven't really looked yet. Also if you don't have q hose can you rinse in a bucket or similar with the faucet??? Oh and thank 😊 Nice Work
How long do you leave it to dry for?
What if you use a color other than black for the spray paint?
