I think the 40th anniversary edition is pretty new. Looks like a cool game, little more complicated then 1942 and a little less then 1940. Good show.

In round 7 I might have been tempted to hit the bomber, fighter, and 2 inf in china with the 6 British planes. Japans pieces are worth 28 instead of 33 IPC but the hitback potential is way lower and it would really slow down Japan's ground game. If you count pips 18 vs 9 instead of `18 vs 9 rd 1 and 15 vs 1 instead of 12 vs 8 rd 2. Always easy from the cheap seats lol. Enjoyed the video.

Well at least the sync issue bit you in a game that looked bleak vs one you had the upper hand on.

One Japan's turn they could produce 4 troops on the Ukraine factory, had two to the south ready to move into Ukraine, 6 more that could be transported in and 7 more tanks. That's 10 troops, 2 artillery, 24 tanks, plus planes in Ukraine before the US has a chance to attack Ukraine. Unless you got some really good rolls Moscow was going to fall pretty soon without Germany's help.

Something that I really think would help enhance your videos, and videos featuring A&A 1942 online in general from other content creators, is if you/they would provide timestamps or a description indicating key battles...I like watching your videos, but it may be even more enjoyable to be able to cycle back to a key entertaining battle as a viewer...

Your point on G13 about him not trying to stack Karelia and France is spot on...He should at least stack Karelia and cut off your supply of Allied troops reinforcing Moscow...He has enough firepower with Japan where if he could stack Karelia, I think he could take Moscow in like 5 to 6 turns...

This has been driving me nuts. In US3, you took Norway with 6 units, but did not take Finland, which was empty. This will seem like I'm backseat driving here, but I really just want to know if I'm missing something, because I can't see what the advantage is to stack all 6 in Norway. To my thinking, I would have put 4 in Finland with 1 inf and 1 tank in Norway, giving me a follow up attack in US4 to counter Germany's (likely) retaking of Karelia. Thoughts?

How can you live with so many unresolved Notifications... I wouldnt be able to have it like that and to be fair there are other youtubers that have even more than you.

Enjoying watching. Did you notice on UK round 4 that Japan had an uncovered transport in sea zone 61? The bomber in India could’ve cleaned it up. Bombers in India are fun.

Computer will always say Improbable if there is a Seabattle before a Landing! You have to check after you won the Seabattle to have the Ingame Calculator again to get the correct ingame estimate!

Great game, lots of fisticuffs. That second India battle had some bad dice for the Axis. Roch made a good point regarding the difference between a gold and platinum player being primarily efficiency and micro transactions.

Blacktide is also a good negotiator with his teammate. He makes an effort to share agency and gets less resistance for it.

It's amazing how much money UK has got from Japan by taking NGU on round 1.

By letting Germany have CAU, it is a 8 net transfer for each round. If this lasts 4+ rounds - that's a lot of money. And if they realize it, they can use it to trade WRU (or Japan could possibly start trading WRU and even UKR under some scenarios, or sneak a tank into CAU). Also - not sure that the Russian tank taking UKR is a good idea. It's a 6 IPC unit for 2 ipcs and a 1/3 chance of a hitback. So a waste of 3 IPCs. That said - Allies have a huge lead and it seems 99.5% you should win it.

Interesting game. I thought he was going to go for your Canada transports with a bomber in round 24 but instead he took them East.

It may sound crazy but I'd continue with the 2 fig vrs 1 fig 1 bmb in that disastrous Ukraine scenario. The German planes are even more valuable than the Russian planes.

To be honest, I have no idea how either side are going to win this game. Surely he'll have to give up France soon, and at least it looks like you'll finally be able to build an IC in Belorussia with the USA. Can you afford to run a 4th transport for the UK?
