Hi, this game says it has options for multiple languages, but on steam it says it only applies to the interface of the game, not the subtitles. I was wondering if it also applies to the Switch version?

Wish I had seen this sooner. I bought the collection yesterday and it seems like the levels repeat between the 3 collections. I remember playing the Incredible machine. It was a much better game. And there was a bigger variety of tools to work with.

I've been playing and replaying this game since 2018, to see it come this far to be ported on a full fledged console is amazing.

My list as a competitive player with S rank in every sport: 8. Chambara: Lag ruins this sport and it’s just a guessing game as to what your opponent is going to do. The motions feel inaccurate sometimes as well. 7: Badminton: Would be pretty fun if my character didn’t randomly slow down or fall over for no reason 6: Basketball: In the high ranks everyone is just spamming 3s and the team who gets the ball first just wins. Blocking is super difficult and shooting 3s needs to be nerfed. There’s also no reason to pass, just dribble up slowly in bursts. 5: Volleyball: Gameplay is fun and nuanced but it’s impossible to carry a bad teammate 4: Bowling: High ranks get handicapped with heavier pins which doesn’t make sense, otherwise also a very nuanced and strategic sport that’s fun to grind. Waiting for opponents does take forever though 3: Soccer: Unlike volleyball, you can carry teammates, as well as curving shots. Even if you aren’t mechanically good there’s still a ton of strategy involved. 2: Tennis: This is what badminton should have been. High ranked matches are always intense and there’s so many varied play styles you can use, creativity with your shots really gets you a long way 1: Golf: Has the most active community, a full 21 holes which is the most content of any sport, and has a very high skill ceiling.

Finally, a switch sports review that isn’t: no mii’s+no wuhu island= “soulless nostalgia pandering cash grab, Nintendo is evil wahhh!!!!”

(prepare for the longest comment I've ever made on a youtube video) My ranking: 8- Soccer Mostly because of the oversized ball and field, making scoring goals way too easy. When I play soccer, my games normally last about thirty seconds before I run at the ball and give it one kick into the goal. 7- Chambara I love the fact that you can swing your sword in many different ways, allowing a lot of variety, even with the weapons you choose. The tiebreaker is great, if you manage to tie the game in the first place. Otherwise, it's just too short to be fun. And people just spam attacks, completely ruining the game altogether. 6- Badminton I found what you said very inspirational for me to rank it this low. And I completely agree with you. All it is is spiking the ball and hitting dropshots over and over again, and it lacks variety like tennis or golf. It feels like a baby version of tennis to me. 5- Volleyball I, once again, agree with what you said in the sense that if you're not playing with someone you know, it's just not as fun. The things you can do is great, like the "quick trick" and the side attack. It's fun to practice blocking these tricks, and it's satisfying to get a "Nice! X3" combo. It's by far my favorite sport to play on a team with someone you can communicate with. Also, I love how you can control your character manually. 4- Basketball The only reason basketball is this high on the list is because of the 3pt contests and practice and the 5-streak game. I especially love the tiebreaker in the 5-streak, and it's just fun to play, and even funnier to throw your ball into someone else's shot. The 3pt contests and practice are great things to do if playing by yourself. However, the 2v2, like soccer, makes it hard to interact with your teammate, and movement is basically automated, unlike volleyball. All it is is people just running around, and spamming the "Steal" movement. Plus, most of your shots are blocked, and it's just not fun. Basketball games I play normally end with one side winning with no more than six points. 3- Bowling Bowling, both standard and special, is so much fun to play at a party with a bunch of different people. There are so many ways to angle it, and I love how you can hook the bowling ball and have fun throwing the "Professional Way", where you angle it to the right and spin it into the center pin. Special bowling is a fun challenge, especially the intermediate and advanced levels. Bowling is so fun to play with friends, and the 16-player online version is great. 2- Golf I love golf for its complexity and challenge. There are so many unique holes, and hitting a good shot or making a long putt is actually hard, unlike lots of other sports, making it very satisfying to do so. It's fun to play by yourself on an 18-hole course to see how well you can do, but the only thing I don't like about it is the online version. Having only five holes means that doing bad on the first hole will normally guarantee getting eliminated at the end of the next hole. And no one stands a chance against someone who did exceptional on one hole. There are no comebacks, and it's just not exciting. They can't make it much longer, though, because people would disconnect. Nintendo should just make it two rounds, three holes in the first, and two in the finals. That would make it way more fun. 1- Tennis I love playing this with friends, and this is by far my best sport. The only thing I don't like about it is that, as the video said, you can't play proper sets. It'd be even more fun if you could play singles, but it's still fun anyway. Unlike golf, you can really "come back", and it's always satisfying to finally win that game that's been going on for fifteen minutes. Plus, there are so many ways to hit. You can actually aim your shots well, unlike lots of other sports, and you can put spin on them in lots of different ways. Playing tennis like this is somewhat similar to tennis in real life, which is another thing I like about it. It's just so fun to play with someone else, especially when you win.

basketball is fun but i feel like it was a missed opportunity to let us use 2 joycons and we could actually dribble and move around

Badminton 5.Golf ( I just can't get the golden outfit my mind will change if I can manage to win it) 4.Basketball ( it's new I haven't played it toooo much yet) 3.Tennis ( I wish we would get a couple when playing solo 2.Volleyball ( I am a volleyball player so it isn't fair but the timing socks you are to early when in real life it would have been the perfect time) 1.Bowling ( I miss the 99 pins)

Honestly something that they could of done with Golf that I'm still kind of upset about is that they didn't include the Club/Lakeside courses in the game. I originally had a 50/50 chance feeling that it wouldn't have made it, but man it would be so nice to have all the courses back.

For me, it’s: 8. Chambara (never liked it much on resort, and Nintendo butchered it) 7. Badminton (it’s ok, just a worse version of tennis) 6. Tennis (there is some fun to be had here, but not too much compared to other sports) 5. Bowling (the obstacle courses made the difference for me. Classic bowling is just boring) 4. Volleyball (This sports is very good and replayable. The movements are greatly made, and the different spike moves you can pull off make for a great experience) 3. Basketball (might be the hype speaking, but I really like this. Resort’s basketball is still better tho) 2. Football (many say it’s just a worse version of rocket league, but I really like it! There’s strategy involved and that’s what makes a good sport) 1. Golf (the more I play golf, the more I enjoy it. The online mode is super replayable, and it’s super satisfying whenever you get a chip in). Phew! I wrote a whole essay just for a sport ranking. No regrets though! 😂
