I'm excited to be back, in my creative space with content! It's been some time since I last made a video but Grant and I went on a special night away, without the kids....so I thought it would be the perfect time to make a special video.
Hope you enjoy & if you're ever visiting Tassie I would 100% recommend a visit to this magic spot.

We’ve wanted to do this for several years. We came down from Brisbane a year ago and nearly moved to Railton but we pulled out because we were afraid of the change and leaving family and friends. We are still afraid of the unknown but our house is in the market and we have bought a place in Kimberley. We should be there by late June… Scary but super exciting. All of what you said in this video resonates completely! Thanks for the tip about Allied Pickfords, will def give them a call. Thanks for the info and inspiration! ❤️😀

It will take time and lots of hard work to achieve your dream - but it will be well worth it when you get there. You have youth and strength on your side! Part of the "slow"culture is to be patient and take on one thing at a time. It has taken us at least 20 years and many hours at the stove, packing the freezer and the dehydrator, building garden beds (and protecting them from wildlife) constructing plastic pods and finally building a green house to even remotely achieve our goals to eat seasonally. All the very best to you and your family.

Thanks so much Rosemarya! It's possibly the biggest learning adventure of my life...the "slow culture" is a modality that has aligned with us for some time now...and even though its the way we want to live I can already feel that it will take a long time to let go of the fast pace of life that we have come from. Where about's do you live in Tassie Rosemarya?..

Hi Kirsten, Sorry I didn't reply to your comment! I've only just seen it, it didn't notify me for some reason. This is a suuuuuper old bed spread of mine...it's been with me through many years and journeys. I can't remember where I bought it from...probably somewhere like 'off ya tree' or 'happy high herbs' or 'tree of life' or 'Ishka'! Thanks for your lovely feedback. It was so therapeutic writing a letter to myself <3 I hope you are well :) x
