Thanks 🙏 Yes, I use a .80 for the low string so definitely had to file the nut for that. Even had a luthier make the hole in the tuner bigger…. The guitar is tuned to drop F#, and I used a pitch shifter to drop further down to drop E.

@@mrlukasbos sounds really good my man no disrespect. That part is played on the b string higher up I think 3,5,3,5 then move up to 5,7,5,7 then 5,8,5,8, back to 5,7,5,7 then back to 3,5
No believe he did it correctly the only problem I think in the mix the tapping is a bit quieter in the original so don’t worry man you got it spot on👌🏻

Great cover! Did you have to use a pitch shifter for this or are you tuned to drop E? If you're tuned to drop E, what gauge strings are you using for that low E?
Thanks! 🙏 in this cover my guitar is tuned to Drop F# and I pitch-shift down to drop E. I use a beefy slinky + .80 for this on a 27”-25.5” scale length. That might work for drop E but I would maybe go a bit heavier even.
