Hi. My name is Daniel,( everyone calls me Dan), I'm 16 and on this channel you can find railways(surprisingly).
I try to go and film as much as possible whenever I can mainly around the North and Midland areas of England.
I also have a model railway which is currently undergoing expansion and overhaul.
My outings as well as pictures can be found on my Instagram page a link of which should be further down this screen.

45562(45699) On Miles Platting Bank With The Cotton Mills Express
My first attempt to chase a mainline steam special and probably my last too.
The original plan being to start earlier in the day which didn't happen because of the weather. So I went to Miles Platting considering I now live in the area. The next shot would've been at Hebden Bridge but my train there was cancelled due to a "track defect" and with the weather getting worse again I called it a day there and then.
This shot is average with the main problem being the excess play in the camera caused by the wind which was unbeknownst to yours truly. The sound is pretty damn decent though.
I advise you to just close your eyes and listen. Whoever was on the regulator, you did good.

A short few clips focusing on the Severn Valley's Ivatt 4MT strutting it's stuff at Bridgnorth. This isn't a return to TH-cam but more of a taster as to what kind of stuff I'm planning on doing from now on.

In the fading-ish light a pair of 67s(T'n'T) set out to Bridgnorth on an ECS working having arrived from further South. About 40 mins later the pannier tank follows them heading for the same place.

Sorry the extremely late upload with this one. I've been incredibly busy since Christmas with college work and personal issues but I plan to go out more from March onwards. The 14th-15th October saw the East Lancashire Railway hold their Autumn Steam Gala. This included the visit of the soon to be retired A4 Union Of South Africa. The 5th-8th October saw the Great Central Railway hold it's annual steam gala. The theme was the End Of Southern Steam with 2 visiting Bullied Pacifics 34053 Sir Keith Park and 34081 92 Squadron and a return to steam of 73156 masquerading as 73084 Tintagel. On the 22nd of June LMS Stanier Jubilee 45699 'Galatea' was to haul the Scarborough Spa Express between York and Scarborough. This video shows the York departure. They are miniature locomotives, they aren't going to cope with high voltage locomotive horns

Well shot! The Black 5 at 10:50 is doing ~36 mph. . . a little above the official maximum, possibly, but well below the design speed of the line there, which is 45 mph.
