Japan Archives ⛩️ 𐙚 ‧₊˚ ⋅ 20th Birthday in Kyoto, Rilakkuma Cafe, Matcha, Kichi Kichi Omurice
hi everyone!
I recently turned 20! I decided to travel to Kyoto with one of my friends to spend my birthday there. We only spent four days there, but we made the most out of it:’) It was a really memorable time for me. One of the places I was really looking forward to was the Rilakkuma cafe! I got their beef curry and matcha parfait. Speaking of matcha, we also went to a cafe called Maccha House. The branch we went to was near by Kichi Kichi Omurice. In the video, you can tellI enjoyed their matcha parfaits so much. Since Kichi Kichi Omurice was near by, we made reservations to eat there for lunch. Getting reservations was very competitive. My first attempt was a fail actually :( It was fully booked within two minutes. My second attempt was a success though ^^. The food and experience eating there was a 10/10 for me. Since it was usually busy in the afternoon/evening, there were some activities my friend and I did in the morning to avoid the crowd. I’m glad I got to enjoy morning walks by the river and in shrines,, it felt very serene. I’m really happy I got to experience more parts of Kyoto again.

Thank you :’)!! As of right now I’m at still at a low conversational level/ , but I can understand Japanese between n4-n3 level. My experience in japan has been over all wonderful. It has its cons, but personally there have been more good that outweigh all the bad.
