I just scored an all original, never operated Cocktail Table Pac and have the upright from my arcade as a kid. 😊

@@JohnAdorjan most people would say I’ll take things that never happened for $500 Alex. 😂 What I was referring to is buying an original and dealing with the weight etc isn’t as ideal but to each their own. New never used never open doesn’t grow on trees. Although have thought about the pixel bash Pac-Man brand new lately. But it’s still not the same. My emulation on my atgames lwgends though is PERFECT 🤩

Monitor and control deck are all in one but it’s not hard to get to or remove

I haven’t noticed anything with them. They seem to be great so far while in hand held mode.

I grew up in arcades and around ALL of these games in person. Played them a lot. Some I haven’t played in decades though. As for MK I didn’t play them nearly as much as SF2 and MvC series. Today I’m a huge fan of Injustice series which is a reskinned MK fighting engine. ✌️

I have that cab as well and I love it. ALU is a great multicade. As for being taller. It isn’t. Wider screen. Yes. Pac-Man XL is VERY close to the original Pac-Man. I think my ALU has a 24 inch screen. The original Pac-Man is a 19” screen and so is the XL. For offline play. (No leader boards and no online vs) the ALU with coinops is very hard to beat. The emulation runs better as well. For pure nostalgia. For Myself. It’s hard to beat the Pac-Man XL.

They were fairly responsive. I did have a short video explaining and showing the problem as well as pics and all the necessary info. Date of purchase. Serial number model number name address etc. if you provide all of that up front you’ll get a response fairly quickly.

I have no clue. For myself I go back and for the between sanwa IL/Happ and of course the stock Hori hayabusa buttons and joystick. IL/HAPP seems to be my go to.

I bought it from Best Buy and ran into the holiday sale $399.99 I believe. Maybe a little less than that.

I think it is odd there’s no way to toggle the button light as well. I also hope they patch the emulation as there seems to be some judder/lag in gameplay. It is indeed the most authentic looking can Arcade1up has made to date.

Yeah I think I’ll eventually swap at least the buttons and maybe the joystick too. Did you swap to sanwa or happ or something else?

On this particular cab the coin door is purely cosmetic and doesn’t light up. Whereas the KI pro the coin doors are lit and they have a function by pressing the coin door. If I recall Pac-Man XL coin door lights up. (Fact check me on that as I’ve lost track) Some deluxe models the coin doors light up. I think my new ms Pac-Man deluxe lights up.

On killer instinct? Yes it adds credits/coins. But mine is the KI Pro.

I apologize: it using the YT studio app and I thought your comment was under a different video. KI Pro coin door lights up and adds credits when you press it.

To each his own. I mean I get to enjoy it just fine. I also have more premium Multicade cabs too. It is as much for the vibe and nostalgia as anything else. I might ditch the whole thing one day and buy real arcade cabs but not now. As for size. It doesn’t both me much. XL and pro are great. The other cabs we can add a rise and so on. Anyways I hope you do what you like and nobody calls you dumb for what you enjoy. ✌️

It’s a great cab. I did notice it wobbles a little more than I care for. XL and pro in this riserless format are fine. No wobble. On a riser no wobble. That being said if you add weight up too you’ll want to expand the base a few inches.

I’m watching the video now. I’m not surprised that there’s lag. Looks like it’s the rom and the hardware both affecting it.

A1up can easily remedy this by patching to the better roms or via usb for a savy end user.

This arcade stick is the same as the other Hori Arcade stick they made for this console generation. It works well with tekken Street fighter MK injustice soul caliber you name it. It’s fully upgrade/modable as well. If you’re in the market for a quality arcade stick this one is worth a look.

I got it on the holiday sale at Best Buy. It was roughly $399.99 I think maybe. A little less. I use wired but I have a strong internet connection. I do have my SF2 running wireless and mvc1. What. I notice is more lag. In most games it wouldn’t be a problem but fighting games first person shooter or sports games every frame and every ms counts. Go wired if you can.

It’s a quality arcade stick. I’m really enjoying it but I’m playing Tekken 8 more than SF6 😂 I want the Tekken 8 version of this too

Yeah the more I play the more I notice it. If I go back to back from my ALP with coinops running and the A1up cab the emulation on the ALP is far superior. My older Brother is 55 and an arcade veteran as well. He enjoyed both cabs but preferred the ALP Coinops because of tbe stutter and lag in the A1up emulation. I hope they resolve this with a patch.

I’m not sure. I think they blew out their stock with that last sale at Christmas. I snagged a second cab for my older brother for $399.99. Great deal for sure. Hopefully they re release it. If not check eBay and the A1up community on Reddit Facebook and X. I’m also on all of those platforms. Worst case Hit me up and I’ll try to help you find one somebody is parting with.

I think the PAC Man XL cab will be back in stock. Call your local Costco locations and ask about inventory. Keep the faith.

To each his own. I would love a full real arcade in my basement but that’s not going to happen anytime soon. Cost is high as well as space. That and they are harder to move around.

@@cavemanmoneyshot_6850 I have both in my house I have the pac man one up and NFL blitz regular arcade machine it's only like twice the size you can get the ones with a couple 100 game on them for around 900 bucks and pinball is the expensive game

Did you try it with high speed on in the settings? I agree any lag is unacceptable in our day and age with emulation.

@@cavemanmoneyshot_6850 oh yeah the control input latency is even more noticeable on fast speed pac-man by like half a second and fast-fire Galaga framerate stutters. Even compared it to my G1 Galaga cab and it’s night and day. Hope they fix it but since they aren’t attending CES now I’m not hopeful they are going to do anything or be around much longer.

I too am concerned. They did have some big staff changes last year. That tells me there’s new direction but…they’re either behind or don’t have their licenses lined up. Or…financially they may not make it. It’s hard to tell. Worst case I hope to get some XL cabs of existing IP I enjoy like SF2 Star Wars TMNT MvC etc. beyond that they need new IP. Smash TV would be epic. But I’m not holding my breath.

Dude I just got pac mania and am super disappointed, it’s very laggy and stutters. I had Gen 1 Galaga and pacman and this issue did not exist.

That’s a fair point but as I said in the video I love the battle toads games especially the arcade game. I found no issues with KI 1 or 2. Hard to play one handed I need a camera/phone stand so I can do a better job filming game play.

That’s a very good point. I do wish it had more bass and that they would launch their products under better circumstances. The issues the first cabs had with joystick issues for combos the speakers being defective and the online lag really hurt that first impression. I saw all the updates in software for the KI cabs and I decided to go for it since the aesthetics is what really drives me with these cabs anyway. I mean we can all just run an emulator on a modest PC with a custom arcade stick if we desired. (I do that sometimes) but these at home cabs are more like furniture and a feeling for me. I think the sound issues are somewhat fixable because the stock speakers use a standard rca jack and you can get a y splitter and hook up the stock speakers which are better than older 1up speakers and a bass speaker which you can place inside the cab on the bottom.

Facts I’ve been looking at Logitech Z313 speakers to add to a few of my cabs. See if that gets me where I want to go with them.

Well I find them to be quite good. Just my personal opinion. They function better than any other A1up control deck I’ve used. I have from TMNT all the way up to MvC2. I feel like the control deck for KI Pro is the best of the bunch. Thank you for the support. There’s lots of great ways to play KI. Xbox has it on game pass too and A1up has a cheaper 3/4 scale version of this cab as well.

We as a community have asked them to fix this lag. The more I play the more I notice it. I do love Pac-Man the most and play that and super Pac-Man on this cab. Ms Pac-Man galaga galaxian and so on I play on my ALP or ALU via coin ops or on my gaming laptop via mame/coin Ops.

@@screamndemon6094 I’m running coinops on my Pc off of an external usb C SSD drive. Coinops on ALU/ALP is via add on X format byog on the atgames cabs.

Not yet. I’m not sure what A1up plans to do with their Countercade lineup. I think an MvC2 Countercade would be popular.

Agreed. I love this hobby it’s a lot of fun. 3 year old to roughly 17 year old me fantasy coming true now in my 40’s. Oh who am I kidding it’s my current fantasy coming to life too. 😂

@@cavemanmoneyshot_6850 Yeah, for sure. The ones I have are the games I loved growing up, MK2, NBA JAM, SF2, etc. I buy the ones I love, mod them if I want to. Buttons, sticks, marquee, etc. And enjoy playing the heck outta them. Mine get used everyday, and after 2 to 3 years, no issues. Have thousands of games emulated on my PC, but love playing on the cabs more for the arcade experience.

Same here. I run coin ops on a gaming PC machine but nothing beats playing on a cab.

It has some drawbacks but it’s a winner for sure. Probably the best we will get for a while in a Pac-Man cab. I hope Arcade1up makes more like this.
