This is a live performance clip of Grupo Silencio, a group I used to play with in Austin, Texas 1988-1992. Here we're performing a song from Bolivia called "Canción y Huayño," also known as "Poco a Poco," composed by Mauro Núñez. That's me on zampoña (panpipes), charango (the little guitar), and vocal. The clip is from the cable access TV show "Cotorreando" in 1992. The other group members here are Martha Davids (vocal and guitar), Javier Palacios (vocal and bombo - drum), and Oscar García-Landois (quena - flute, güiro - scraper and vocal). We came up with some nice harmonies, I think.
