Unboxing: Hunter “Antero” Ceiling Fan
This is an unboxing video of a Hunter "Antero" ceiling fan in the Matte Silver finish. A couple years ago I unboxed and took a close look at a Hunter "Lincoln" ceiling fan and was disappointed in the many cheap components for a fan that retailed for about $200. Being that this is another modern Hunter fan from a box store chain, I didn’t have high expectations; and I was correct to have those low expectations.
Everything about this fan just feels cheap. The first cheap downgrade I noticed was that the canopy is plastic… literally plastic. The blade set felt fairly durable but only offers one finish, with the other side being a flat grey color noted to be installed upward. I guess a redeeming quality is the glass light shade which actually felt durable and had some thickness to it. This fan also has some “easy install” features to it, like this plug-in wiring harness on the flimsiest Hunter mounting bracket yet. The blades also have this quick install feature where they snap into place over pre-installed screws. One thought I had about the quick blade-mounting feature is that the rubber grommets that Hunter uses on their blades tend to dry out and shrink overtime. I can see 10 to 20 years from now, blades on these fans becoming loose and potentially dislodging over the heads of these screws.
Overall I wouldn't say this is the worse fan you can buy today, but it does feel like a budget Hunter fan despite retailing close to $150.

Fall 2024 Brief annual video overview of the ceiling fan department at a local Home Depot home improvement store, same location from prior videos on my channel. Some of the brands featured are Hampton Bay / Home Decorators Collection and Hunter. Similar to past years, I noticed a lot of broken fans especially compared to Lowe's. The price for the Littleton has remained the same as last year at ...

Fall 2024 The ceiling fan department at a local Lowes home improvement store, same location as the other Lowes videos on my channel. Some the the brands featured are Harbor Breeze, Hunter, and Fanimation. No major changes, however it seems like there was slightly less stock in the store than in years prior. Definitely a lot of modern styles with several fans almost looking like the same thing. ...

Unboxing: Universal “CF-351” Ceiling Fan
มุมมอง 4645 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is an unboxing video of a 52" Universal CF-351 ceiling fan in the Polished Brass finish with a set of Oak/Cane blades. This fan is from May of 1990 and was most likely sold through a smaller hardware store chain native to the Northeast US. First impressions out of the box is that this is really a cheapened version of an otherwise popular design that dominated the market in the 1980’s. The ...

Hunters glassware is one of the only things they do nicely now. The mounting system sucks and makes for lots of wobble, performance always lacks and everything is pretty cheap and easily breakable. The Original is basically the one exception. Surprisingly the new Casablanca models don’t seem too bad either.
Hopefully hunter builds Casablanca back up again, such an iconic brand gone to waste now...
@ I definitely wouldn’t get your hopes up. Its definitely possible but chances are Hunter isn’t gonna wanna rebuild something with quality
@ I agree and expect the same. Too bad...
that’s a stratford 2
Since you live so close to me since we are in the same state I have to come over one time and check some things out
Anyone else miss when fans weren’t all LED?
The computer wallpapers this could be. I absolutely love the shots of the fans, and how perfectly quiet you got the surroundings.
all greyscale and just…sad

what has Lowe’s come too…it’s so absent of any spirit it’s concerning
Man this spot peaked early to mid 2000's, just wish I had documented it..
@@ceilingfancentral2871 yeah very much so, the main ones i liked were the hb point break, rocket, fleur, and the maricopa we need more fans like those
This is a Westminster without the light kit basically

Big $$ Essence Fans But with a Canopy
My Hunter fan just fell and it did because it was hanged with the wrong hanger ball and bracket ,the one on your fan is the new mounting system that I need ,almost impossible to find at Home Depot and other Hunter dealers in San Diego,Ca. ,I love Hunter fans, that’s the only brand I trust ,they last forever ,but finding the right parts for reconnecting a high ceiling Hunter fan ,not easy at all !
I really wanted to go there but theres one in Houston
this is an excellent ceiling fan.
Broken light kit
Centennial, Yes. No need for quotes!
You're going to have to get over this vexation of yours with the model name in quotes.
Home decorators grayton ceiling fan actually
Well the harbor breeze Cheshire is my favorite
Turn off that thing it will fall😮
What is this music?
5 Blades is better... Cool, tho!
You should unbox the hotel original ceiling fan because that is my favorite fan

I prefer the Black side, But... I do love white, too! Maybe it's just personal preference, I don't know...
Nice
that's a royal pacific royal knight ii

I like it
This is actually a Harbor Breeze Classic in matte black. An uncommon model that is indoor/outdoor and was only sold for maybe 2 years around 2015-2016ish.
Well I’ll take your word for it then!
That fan is going to be a floor fan
they are so wobbly
I saw three of these at a gas station convenience store along with two Hunter Designers Choices which I filmed 4 months ago.
Nice dude so is this Habitat the best in Mass? Also would have got the Modern Fan Co Ball
Bad capacitor or wrong pull chain switch.
Pull chain switch definitely.
@@arpwcos2011 Unless a capacitor only used for medium is bad. I've seen some fans that even went high, low, off, off, which would not be caused by a wrong pull chain.
