If I remember correctly when your Dad Eddie farmed it he used all Red tractors as well but I don't exactly remember which ones he had...
And Lyons had a 766,706,2 460s and an H if I remember correctly...
Westfalls had a 1466, 2 1026 Hydros,886,656,2 574s,330 and an A if I remember correctly...
I remember helping the Westfalls and Lyons haying it back in the day with all Red tractors and equipment...

Lol! That's just a regular plow furrow created by back furrowing - the dead furrow hasn't happened yet.
i bought my 570 new in 92 pulled it with my 450 only once 1100 mf or 666 ihc ol 450 to light little short on hp you can out bale a big rounder but then you gotta pick up bad job only ran about 19xxx through it

Thanks for watching! Having grown up with all IH tractors including 806’s 1086’s this 766 is so impressive its hard to explain it pulls this 4x 16 plow like nothing. We don’t do much plowing now but it runs the NH 10’ discbine like a boss as well even on some very steep hills. Red Power haha

For one thing, that newer chassis gives away a good five or six miles an hour or more in aerodynamic drag.
@Jeffrey I must disagree. The new TCat’s and Sidewinders are so fast the speed of the wind could practically pull the helmet off your head. Nonetheless, I adore the classic TCat! Just like a classic muscle car!

I owned 3 thundercat 1000's a 99, 2000, & 2002, the 2000 had pipes, reeds clutch, and a little port and polish 132 mph I loved it.
I always made sure that center grease fitting stayed well greased. Saw a 766 tore down where one stayed dry and the center pivot between the front tires wore right through.

Polaris patriot 850 makes about 165hp. 2022 Xc 850 Dry weight 465lb. Thundercat suzuki 1000 makes about 172hp. 2001 Thundrcat dry weight 575.
Do the math 2 stroke to 4 stroke conversion. 1000cc 4 stroke is 600cc class 2 stroke.

I snowmobiled Tug Hill once almost 20 years ago. Nice farm and area , way better than the bottom of the state. If you camp with your son make a video and let me know 😊

Wow, 3 square balers, you guys are serious! Looked like the IH 445 was popping out bales the quickest there. All your stuff looks good, and the weather sure looks good with snow on the ground here on this last day of January 2021. That 756 looks the best to my eyes, sure looks sharp. How does the old 310 German run? Even your pickup truck is the right brand. If only it were a red Chevy! Did you add that 56/66 style script 'Hydro' decal to your Hydro 86? I've never seen a Hydro 86 with that before. Kind of makes it a "double hydro" huh? 👍

Yea the 445 doesn't make as dense a bale as the 570 so she does pop them out pretty quick We ended up selling the 311 baler shortly after buying the 570 so we are down to just two balers now lol Yes the 756 is a great tractor that's what we grew up with just not the greatest cold weather starter the old kraut haha good catch on the Hydro decal that's just the way it was when we bought her great baling tractor and that has the 310 as well. Baling hay is definitely in our DNA haha

I was hay farming in Central NY the last 7 years. I watch these videos all the time and I commend you guys this is one of my favorite videos. Good duration and takes you through the whole process. Really nice looking hay fields. Except for the guy with the cheesy prepubescent sideburns and cowboy hat, was a really good video! :) (dont grow em if you cant lol)
