I have found your other song "byssan lull" a couple of years ago for the first time. Ever since every couple of months I have spent countless minutes trying to remember any of the lyrics/meaning and song name and miraculously always finding it somehow. Somehow your voice and song always comes back to my mind and I enjoy listening to it to calm down. Happy to have a new masterpiece to add to my list :)

My great grandpa was a first generation half Swede half french boy. I wonder if he ever grew up speaking swedish but I never thought to ask u til after he passed.

As a Swede, I was very surprised at how well your pronunciation was! Usually, when non-Swedes try to speak, or in this case sing, in Swedish you can barely hear what they’re trying to say. This was great, I could make out the words you were singing and your voice is just lovely. This is my favorite lullaby from when I was little, and it’s so nice to hear non-Swedes appreciating it. Keep up the good work! ❤️❤️

SugarcoatedGalaxy no problem! You did an amazing job and you should definitely keep practicing Swedish! If you’re interested in other Swedish lullabies I can recommend “vem kan segla förutan vind” and “trollmors vaggsång” (basically everyone in Sweden knows these by heart). Or if you want to just listen to a 90’s pop-classic I can recommend “sommaren i city” by Ångel, it’s a BOP!
