Jeju Korea Travel Vlog | Cafes, Waterfalls, Seafood, Snoopy Garden, Street Food, Shopping 🇰🇷🍊
Hello everyone! This is my first time going to Jeju island and I really LOVED it there and can't wait to go back during the other seasons! It was summer when I visited so the UV index was really high and it was even more humid than Singapore... The food was really good and Im glad that my bf and I decided to stay in Seogwipo city instead of Jeju City as there were so many hidden gems around the area! I hope you enjoyed this relaxing vlog. Leave me a comment if you would like to ask me anything! :)
See you in my next vlog!

Hello everyone! This is my first overseas trip with my cousin so it’s a really meaningful and memorable holiday for me. In this vlog, I explore places like Caversham Wildlife Park, Fremantle Markets, Swan Valley, Rottnest Island, The Pinnacles and Perth City! We got around mainly by public transport and Uber. We did not eat out as much because food is rather pricey and we much preferred browsin...

Perth DFO in airport itself or nearby airport? 😊
Thank you for this very informative video ❤ may i know from swan river to honey shop, coffee cafe and chocolate shop is that by walking or Uber? From London Court to Elizabeth Quay you mentioned 5min walks to reach the Quay?
hi, can you share your accommodation details from airbnb?
hihi which month did u visit perth?
Then, please leave a comment about what region Jeju belongs to.
Hi which month you went to perth?
Nice vlog, do they speak English or you have to use translate? Cuz I don’t know korean language 🥲
Thank you :) Not all of them understand English... maybe some basic phrases? If you speak Chinese you can try because I found out that quite a few can speak the language! I also used the Google Translate app if really necessary. The picture function was useful for translating food packaging, menus and signages!
Hello! Can I check are the taxi rides expensive? 🥹
Hi! I would say they are not and are quite decently priced, but if you want to save more like me, public transport is your best friend :)
Oh wow, looks so fun! So how do you get a taxi there? I don't speak Korean and wondering if it's easy or difficult to get around when you don't know Korean. Hoping to visit someday and I'll definitely need English menus.
Hi! It was VERY fun! We booked taxi using the Kakao T app, u just have to set it up by linking it to a Kakao Talk account. From my experience majority of the locals know how to speak english/ chinese! Also you could totally download the google translate app because my bf and I used the picture function to translate menus and korean text to english!
hi, may i ask started from what time you can see the stargaze in The Pinnacles dessert?
Based on my experience the sun starts to set around 5.30pm in Perth. So it gets fully dark by 7+ usually, which was the timing i was star gazing haha.
Found your vid while researching about Perth. Planning to bring the family incl 2 little ones (5 and 1.5 year old) for the first time, so a little nervous about it. Was dreading having to drive so it was nice to see that you and your cousin managed Perth with only public transport and Uber. Was it difficult to move around without a rental car, and expensive with Uber?
hi!! I felt that the uber prices were pretty worth it especially if you were to compare it to Grab prices in Singapore. The public buses and trains were also pretty straightforward and easy to navigate and definitely saved us a lot of money since it only costed $1/$2 per trip. Hope ur family enjoys ur trip there! :)
Sorry to hop on this post but just wondering do we need to get a pass for public transport? Is Uber easy to get? Thanks! Travelling with kids too so kinda nervous since we not renting a car. Also, is the weather super cold? We are travelling in 2 weeks so around the same time as yours!
Hey what is the place tagged 집바랑비치 - can't find it online
Hi! Try searching cafe jinbaran beach! I don't have the link to the place on Naver because I chanced upon this irl!
Hi, what month did you travel to Perth? Thanks
Love your sense of humour 😂😊it’s a great vlog
hi! may i ask which klook package did u book for the pinnacles tour? :)
hi!! this is the link to the one! www.klook.com/en-SG/activity/14367-pinnacle-desert-sunset-evening-stargazing-day-tour-perth/?Dios_pagespm%3DActivity_textversion%3D1_shareid%3DBA9AC927-7259-49A0-B663-09E9AEE97D8A&
hi! do you know if its ok to go in December? Mid-December. Will it be too warm?
hi! Ya I think it’s pretty warm, u could do a quick google search!
I will be traveling to Jeju in April and I can't decide whether to do an airbnb in one place for the 7 days and use the bus/taxi to tour the island, or am I better off moving around to different hotels. Also, did you have a preference or have a favorite part of the island? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.💐🕊💐
hi! If you are planning to drive around Jeju it’s pretty convenient to get to all parts of the island! Travelling by bus is way cheaper than renting a car but it will take up a chunk of your time for the whole day. Personally I really liked the South part so I think you should totally check out the food places and the scenery! Otherwise u can visit some of the places I went in my vlog especially the food places! They were SO GOOD! Hope this helps!
Incredible video! Thank you for this expressions! Maybe u would like to check out our last one about Perth :) love your style
Hi, may I know if you have seen anyone taking big luggage on bus especially the express bus, bus 201 or bus 202? TQ.
Hi! I don't specifically recall taking bus 201 or 202 but most of the public buses are huge coaches! So they have luggage storage on the side of the busses! If it reassures you, I did put my luggage on one of the busses i took from Jeju airport!
Wow this place is beautiful!
Awesome i was at the same tea field i think. and snoopy garden also. but i missed a lot of things. it was so great there i miss Jeju
Hi can I ask if you travelled purely by public transport? Was there a need to hire a private driver for the trip :)?
yep! we took the bus and sometimes taxi using the Kakao T app, otherwise we walked haha. we did not hire private drivers.
@@germainelee thank you 🥰
Hi chance upon your channel so what the frequency of the bus like example bus 201 and other bus that go to the tea museum thanks appreciate it because I was thinking of taking public transport for solo trip on Sep
@@junyan858 hi! My experience when i was there the range was around 30mins-2hrs. It depends on how popular the bus is too... But im not really sure either! We just depended on the sign boards at the bus stops to tell us the estimated time because it was very accurate!
Hi Germaine thanks for the realistic info at least I can have some sort of expectation on the bus and thanks for the advise would like to ask let say 3 might do U suggest stay in Jeju city or seogwipo? Have a good day
I really enjoyed watching your vlog. Pretty genuine and you almost covered the majority of famous points in Perth,WA. Nice work there. ❤
thank you for your kind words :)
Good jee wow 😳
Hi, what's the restaurant name of the chicken?
hi! this is the link of the chicken restaurant on Google Maps! You can find them on the Naver app too (which was how I found the restaurant) maps.app.goo.gl/6k347hX1Tt9Un7t27?g_st=it
Your fun fact about Quokkas isn't quite true. There are isolated pockets of Quokkas on some other islands, in the Stirling Ranges, near Albany, and coastal areas of the lower South West of Western Australia.
hi! ure right, thanks for pointing out!! guess Rottnest just has one of the largest populations!
@@germainelee 🤔It has. Great video by the way. Hope you enjoyed your stay.
Jk❤
I MISS JEJU OMGG!! Never tried summer but perhaps I might go back in summer! I miss the wide open oceans...so glad to have discovered your channel! Much love from your fellow Singaporean ~
hi!! thanks you for your kind words!! was spring pretty? i would love to revisit during the other seasons since this is my first time!
Which apartment did you stay?
I booked an airbnb, i replied to one of the comments with the link to the specific one i stayed at, do look for it!
Sorry to be a sour puss . . . NO COKE ZERO??? Please, tell me they sell Coke Zero somewhere. Stock it up by March 2024, PLEASE???
hello can i know the name of your hotel?
Hotel Winstory! You can book them from Airbnb, which is what I did! 😊
May I know where do you stay? The place looks pretty good.
hi! Someone asked in the comments and I’ve linked it in my reply!
@@germainelee, ok thks. I'm also vegetarian. Hope it is not difficult to look for vegetarian food.
Hi! May I know what are the modes of payment that those restaurants accept?
Hi! Which restaurants are u referring to specifically? If its just a general question, most restaurants accept both cash & card payments from what I experience!
@@germainelee Hi! A general question. Thank you!
At Tuesday night Dinner what is the location of the restaurant you eat the BBQ
Wah I freaking love this video !!!!
Germaine~yo,you uploaded best ~:)
Your video was very good! I live in Perth and grew up here. It’s so lovely to see my city through the eyes of a tourist…we take so much for granted here. Watching your video makes me want to go out each day and be a tourist in my own city. I have been to most of the places you visited, love each place and know we are blessed to live here. However, being a local I guess the excitement isn’t as palpable as being a tourist. I’m coming to Singapore in October for four days, as well as a four day cruise. I’m so looking forward to being there again. I was there briefly in 1978, 2006 and 2008. I see now that Singapore has changed so much. Also, there is more vegan options and cafes to visit. I cannot wait to revisit the places I have been to in the past and see the new installations. I found Singaporeans to be very polite and friendly as well as very helpful. If you ever come to Perth again you must contact me, as I can take you to other lovely places. Thankyou for sharing your travels with us. Warm regards Raelene
Hi Raelene, thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it! Hope you enjoy your trip to Singapore as well :)
Hi Germaine, can share where you stayed in your airbnb? Planning to go in October. Great vlog btw!
hi!! thank u so much :) heres this is the link to the airbnb: abnb.me/UApkKomNwCb
Hi! Thank you for this! Planning to move this October also😊
Just got back from Perth a few weeks ago visiting my bf who studies there! Thanks for this, really helped me relive my memories :”)
Cheers nice vlog hope you enjoyed your stay here. Reason Sg and Australia Perth. have same street names is due to our shared British colonial history. Sg was a British colony from 1819 and swan river colony establised 1829..
Thanks for your comment! Glad you liked the vlog :)
biru has my heart...!!! he's so adorable 🥹💘
thanks!! He will be appearing a lot in my videos haha
