I first heard a similar song with the same lyrics as the Irish blessing but a different melody from a small church in South Sioux City, Nebraska, circa 1975, where my parents and myself once lived. About 4 years ago I searched for this song and discovered Emmet singing it-and the rest is history with this channel in TH-cam-And you were here since the beginning with your gracious replies to all his songs! Thank YOU ❤️! I couldn’t be most grateful for having had the privilege to hear Emmet sing in person- with his natural style-he is indeed a gifted singer PLUS he is a wonderful person, too. You would imagine that he has met so many audiences and yet he delivers his songs as though he is singing it specially for you. I wish for you and William God’s blessings in the new year ahead!
