I won't be adding any more videos to this account in the near future. I will continue to add bunny videos to the account spekkioxlv, which can be accessed through the Friends box.
I'll just be using this account to comment on videos, since the spekkioxlv account isn't really mine! So if you subscribe here, you probably won't see anything =P

Just messing around
I was just messing around with this video to test the image quality, but I'll put in the normal tags to make it searchable.
So, after 8 months of filming on 640 standard quality, I finally realized my digital camera has a setting called 640 fine. This ups the frames per second from 16 to 30 as well as increases the video quality.
Hopefully I'll be able to slo-mo things without the blur now, and also be able to catch crisper video of Billy, as he used to run around too fast for 16 fps.

Krull - Riding the Fire Mares
มุมมอง 102K17 ปีที่แล้ว
From the 1983 sci fi movie Krull. This is my favorite part from the film and favorite piece from the score.
Even bunnies like to jump on the bed

I wanted to upload something to this account, so here's some raw footage of Billy jumping on the bed. I'll be compiling a bunch of binky footage and uploading it to the account spekkioxlv in the future. I just thought it'd be nice to have one video of Billy out there without all the background music and editing done to it :)
Love listening to this with earphones and its all right ear, and right ear only.
Absolutely fantastic film cant beat krull one of my all time favourite movies
great film, but, even the best programming has it's cycle...let's all give a shout out to the Matrix in the comments below
One of the things I love about this scene (besides Horner's theme, which always brings tears to my eyes) is that the warriors all know that they are doomed and are riding to their deaths, but they refuse to stop living. The joyfulness of their ride, they are alive in the moment, and their determination to see it to a conclusion.
If we were to guesstimate the speed of the Fire Mares, I’d put it at 200 - 250 KPH. Awesome.
I remember as a child being fascinated by this scene , everything seen so real and awesome 😊
6:12 mark…Star Trek II
James Horner is brilliant
240p
❤krull
Got this on Blu Ray and its one of my childhood favorites. Sittin at home on a rainy Saturday I discovered this gem. Watched it and fell instantly in love with it. GREAT MOVIE!! The Score is PERFECT!! The gentlemen that did this Score also did Star Trek II The Wrath Of Khan. May he rest in peace and thank you sir for scoring EXCELLENT MOVIES!!
Yes, I think James Horner wrote the two scores round the same time, actually; they sound a lot alike.
A reboot would be cool, just for the ride of the Fire Mares complete with theme music.
I love this scene, but it some of the sliest things I ever seen. It's a miracle no one got killed doing it.
Can I just say i think these actors rode these huge Clydedale horses for filming on treadmills. Brave of both the horses and actors.
James Horners best ever. ….and I mean, EVER
Love that movie!
I remember watching this movie as a kid, and being fascinated by the Fire Mares and especially their ability to fly. being a science geek, I wanted to explain logically how they could do that. I also read a book called "So you want to be a Wizard" by Diane Duane, and one of the characters could walk on air by solidfying the molecules enough to make a surface. I imagine the Fire Mare do something similar, like when they start making fire they are making micro explosions on a molecular level that provide enough force to support their weight even on air. So they are literally running on the blast force of explosions beneath their feet. I haven't figured out in my head what in their physiolgoy would trigger the blasts, but I think ti's a pretty cool idea. In that way though it bothered me that the air running scene was so silent and smooth, cuz I did't imagine them as floating but as still running but on the air molecules, maybe muted galloping noises or little base booms would convey the idea of them running on the actual air. Cheers.
I used them in a game, and the explanation was "magic did it by lots of careful breeding by an Elf".
Arthur C. Clarke used to say "Any technology far advanced enough is indistinguishable from magic." This is basically the story of a space invasion on a planet with a medieval civilization, told from the point of view of said medieval civilization. Though when I first saw it, I did assume it to be a Star Wars prequel and the original story of Anakin Skywalker (it is prohesied that somebody will bear a son and that son shall rule the galaxy).
Poor cyclops getting squashed fuck that
He was dying anyways. So he did on what's worth self-sacrificed to his companions.
The music worked better with de la terre a la lune imo
The music ........epic
Epic in cinema
FIREMAReS!!!! The only way to travel in the fantasy realm..
Best scene in the movie. Lifts it from the B-movie graveyard to a status where fantasy die-hards may rewatch it once in a while.
RIP ROBBIE COLTRANE, this was the first movie I saw him, Harry Potter much later as Hagrid.
Don't forget Freddie Jones (RIP), Alun Armstrong, and Liam Neeson!
The first film I saw Robbie Coltrane was Krull then "Nuns on the Run" (unknowingly)
Same for Liam Neeson. A lot of great movies still lied ahead of him.
This gives me the chills
I Love this Movie to I've recently bought it on Amazon Prime my only Criticism as a Horse lover is some of the Horse are Stallions not Mares lol😆😂🤣😹
One of James Horner's best scores!!!
At 4:15: “We had no time…” Damn, Ergo and Rell the Cyclops really get me here. 🥲 Sometimes, you meet people in life that you instantly connect with. Friends like that are rare, but real. These two had a bond that was short and sweet. Reminds me of Gimli and Legolas - an unlikely pair, but friends forever.
I was born in 1995 but I remember watching this movie between the years 2003-2006 through a borrowed VCD from a neighbor. My grandparents, aunts amd uncles, my siblings, and our extended family members were all amazed watching this scene ❤️
One of my all time favorite scenes from any movie.Along with the lighting of the beacons in Lord of the Rings, young Superman racing the train and Quicksilver saving the day in both those movies. And the music so makes this scene.
Rel- “Screw death! Where’s my horse?” I always cheer inside when he shows up.
He was a badass.
Give me a wheel of oaken wood, a rein of polished leather! A heavy horse and a tumbling sky, brewing heavy weather!.
Hell yeah 💯👍!!!
We win BIIIG!🏆🏆✝️✝️
I was just a kid when this movie came out, but even then I thought that Lysette Anthony was a woman worth fighting for. Liam Neeson was in this film.
Anonny Mouse,Liam Neeson was he in this Movie I didn't notice him? 😀
@@sarahmason833 He’s one of the convicts who joins Ken Marshall in his quest to save Lysette Anthony.
I would most definitely ride to my death with this music playing aswell.
Music to ascend to Valhalla to...
Marvelous
I love this film too, even though people would mock me mercilessly if I told them. I suppose it's what you would call a "guilty pleasure". It's nice to see a simple tale of good versus evil, where nothing is too complicated or needs analysing.
@Giuliano Matrix Thank you, Giuliano. It's nice to meet a fellow fan who's unashamed to admit it. I would go further and say that, for what it is, it couldn't be improved.
I rented a VHS tape of it back during the 80s, and loved it immensely.^_^
@@CuteNekoHibiki Yes, and we shouldn't be ashamed to admit it. It is IMHO an under-rated classic.
People may mock me too but the hell with them. This movie is just awesome.
@@Karcarius It's good, fundamental entertainment which uplifts and sends an encouraging message. I can't understand why people despise it so much.
Yes. They were still very far away. They wouldn’t have made it without the fire mares
The cyclops chose to help them, instead of accepting his own fate.
No. helping them WAS his fate. He only stays behind because he has to await what his fate is, and then he has a revelation that he must go with them to fulfil it.
@@christianealshut1123 Thanks for the update!
These were supposed to be dragons. The original title was The Dragons of Krull. Until someone decided the dragons were too expensive.
Superb movie
Your bunny is happy. When bunnies jump like that it's called a binky and that means they're happy
Pamela Fagan I'm getting my bunny soon I can't wait I really hope he's happy
someone seems to have fun. that bunny must've been old or dead by now. kinda sad just by thinking about it.
Cute
That one dislike must have been a heartless loser.
It's Hagrid @9:35 to the end.
please forget nostalgia, is a crappy movie, but the score is PRICELESS!
If I'm right, the Fire Mare only travels at 67 km/h, so that fire-stuff is pretty overblown here... (If a Fire Mare travels 1000 miles per day, that is only 67 km per hour)
Or using imagination helps a long way.
I agree. The movie itself is good but Horners score really made it memorable.
Those are Binkies!
