Have you take GO bus that has a luggage rack on a lower level on a different route? I know it most likely use it for airport but I rode the one with the bus rack couple times on route 31 and 36B

For 34 Street-Penn Station, you can take the Long Island Railroad (LIRR), NJ Transit, Amtrak, and the subway to get there, but the subway between the 7th and 8th Ave lines are seperate from each other.

You could've gotten off at 175 Street since the George Washington Bridge is closer to that station.

My mom's friend use to do that every day until 2019 that she moved from the bronx to utah, then from there to Paterson, New Jersey. She would take the 4 train from Kingsbridge Road to 125 Street and she'll take the uptown 6 train to Parkchester or Castle Hill Ave to the P.S. 106x the parkchester School every weekday.

I did rode GO Transit Enviro500 Super-Lo before 8394 with the bus rack on a lower deck that I assumed it was mostly use for Pearson airport but I did actually rode 8394 with bus rack lower level last week on route 36B!
