Studebaker's , built after WWII, were at least a decade ahead in design, of their time! So much so, that I believe much of the public, could not accept them as 'family' cars! At 77, I now look at these "cars of my youth" with a different perspective! Gorgeous!

If that's a '63, they have replaced the speedo and tach with '64 units with the black centers. All the other gauges appear to be '63 with the silver centers. Those seats aren't '63 either. Those are '67 units, or at least '67 covers. But it probably IS a '63 or '64 as evidenced by the panels between the front wheels and the doors. But it certainly is NOT an original '63.

Wow, it looks original and stock. Is it? I believe '74 (last year) was the only year a 304 was standard/base motor for the AMX. Prior to that, it had been the 360. I believe that is a 3 speed stick?
