I just got into reading a couple of weeks ago, I'm absolutely loving it! And, I to got myself a Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, best investment I've ever done! I'm currently reading Fahrenheit 451, amazing book no doubt, and afterwards; im reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, super stoked for that one, and; my Kindle is also Denim Blue 😆 P.S. subscriber earned 🎉

The 2 cons I have with kindle paperwhite are,it's difficult to see books in the library as there is no contrast so they look really faded,even with my reading glasses I find it hard to see the covers clearly. You can't bookmark sample books on kindle,why?

Kindle Fire is not the "older" version it is the Amazon tablet (like an ipad), it is a completely different device. I dont have a screen protector simply because i was originally using a cover case but it should be the default to get protectors for any touch device. Also do t fault the device for not having apps, you should have watched a video or two that showed it is JUST a reader, the Kobos are the ones with app ability

My birthday is September 29 and I’m thinking of getting a Kindle for it. I love reading. But as you said, I love the feel of physical books. I’ve looked at Kindles and they look awsome but is it really worth not getting to smell it and feel the paper? I seriously need advice about this. People who didn’t want a kindle because they liked physical books but ended up getting one, was it the right choice?

biggest rec is the percy jackson series , it’s so long and has so much lore, even when finishing the main series, there’s still more books for it! also if you think it’s expensive, most books r online for free! <3

I got my kindle just a month ago and i love it! for the ads, Amazon removed it for free for me so if anyone who is considering getting it and doesn't want to pay the $20, you can just contact customer service and you tell them you're a loyal customer, they'll remove the ads for free

I absolutely love my kindles. I got a kindle keyboard in 2011, yes, 2011. I’ve been a huge fan since. That one was larger and didn’t have a backlight. I upgraded in 2022, 11 years later. My 2 cons are I wish it was a little smaller. There are smaller ones but they don’t have warm light. And I wish that audiobooks would follow along with the book and read it to you like it does on my iPad. Otherwise, you can listen to audiobooks with ear phones but no Apple products, which is what I have.

Is it good for reading at dark?

I'm so close to buying one, but I'm mad that the 20% trade in discount won't apply to the kindle W/ 3m of KU. So I'd save 30 dollars, but have to pay 35 dollars for KU for 3 months. The discount only works for them if it's without KU (even though they're the SAME exact price)

I am not a jealous person but i feel bad that i don't have any other options for Kindle rather than Black and white. I still adore my kindle in black colour but seeing other having different colours of kindle make me feel a bit sad.

This was a lot of fun! Yet, I am unmoved, unconverted. I've been reading before I could speak (if my mom didn't make that up. She used to read a lot to me when I was an infant, child, and pretty well prevented her from being able to get any work done at home. So, she taught me the alphabet, and things took off! ) I am a pretty good customer of Thriftbooks in the US. I Am not too old -68- to learn something new, I just love books. But thank you for your joyful discovery. Wish you much joy!!!
