Brendan and Leigh headed the Forssman Motorsports team as the sole entry for Rainbow and the little 1650cc class 2 machine didn’t let us down. The Geelong Off Road Buggy Association created the March test and tune day, a day for us drivers to take family, friends and sponsors for some hot laps and to give them a taste of the adrenaline rush we get when racing. Sadly it didn’t all go to plan mid afternoon as i finally swapped seats with my SuperNav to give him a steer with my sitting on the other side of the Protruck and less the 2 lap...

A little edit from start to finish of the day in just on 7 minutes including some passes, a near miss, a rollover ( not ours this time ) and some fast driving I’m through the dust. The Protruck weighs in at just over 2T so it gets peddled pretty hard to keep up with the SXS’s and the top of the field super lightweight Saber buggy’s. End result for the day was 2nd in class and 4th outright👍👍

Another full lap from this years Pines Enduro, this time it’s with Jason and Del onboard the 474 Protruck. This was the first lap of the Sunday, the 1st of 6 laps for the day and the boys went onto finish the event coming second in class 4 and 17th outright.

274 first lap of long course Sunday (before it got rough)

Enjoy a lap in the 474 Protruck at Avalon, it’s only a short track of 2.6 ks but it keeps you on your toes, we ended up 4th outright here and with some weight reduction via fuel and spares we will be up the pointy end with the quick buggy’s next year.

Here’s a lap of the Rainbow 240 with Brendan Forssman and Leigh Whitehand of in the 274 Class 2 buggy. This was their fastest lap for the weekend the first finish for Brendan and Leigh for the year.
