It was pretty bad up in the North East with over turned lorries and disruption on the rail but at least it was only 24 hours. Back to normal today ☺️

We might be lining something up for half term. My shifts at work haven't been great for the last few weekends so we're struggling a bit at the moment. Better times are coming though

Yeah, four times!!! The first time I rang control to make sure we werent the first over and acting as the guinea pigs 😂 There was an overturned lorry on the Redheugh Bridge which must have been terrifying 😬

@@Tommys_Trains We got away very lightly down here in the end despite an initial yellow warning. My worse storm experience was the "hurricane" of 15th/16th October 1987 when only 4 pupils out of nearly 1400 turned up to the school, one having got injured on his way by riding into a fallen tree on his bike. I had a Land Rover then and had managed to get to the site via some country roads from my village but being a Head of Year I was the senior teacher present and had to patch him up, keep everyone safe, deal with some daft telephone enquiries about whether the school was going to be able to open and finally get everyone home safely.
