Understanding Interdisciplinary Studies
มุมมอง 603 ปีที่แล้ว
In school, we are often taught classes in silos. Math is taught separately from physics, history is taught separately from literature. In the real world, everything is interconnected. So if you want to study something with real world impact, you have to learn through this prism of interconnectedness. I have often heard my peers say the following about math: "this subject is so useless, when wil...

December 27 is my grandmother's birthday. The best present I thought I could give her is to show her that I learned a lot from her example: sometimes knowingly, sometimes unconsciously. We all follow in the steps of someone. I am grateful that the steps I followed were hers. Happy birthday, Oyijon! 27 dekabr buvimning tug'ilgan kuni. Oyijonimga (onam - "mama", buvim - "oyijon") sovg'a qilaman d...

Tickets to college admission: My debate story
มุมมอง 1474 ปีที่แล้ว
Debate became my ticket to world class higher education. I spent a ton of time on debate in 9-10th grades of high school. Success wasn't easy at all, but we really wanted it. Think of something that you'd be willing to dedicate 10 hours per week extra, in addition to everything you already have to do at school. Pick one, maybe two projects, and dedicate yourself to them fully outside of school....

I didn't think someone from Uzbekistan got into Brown before. This just gave me at least some hope. Manifesting my acceptance🙏
I miss your guidance !
Every year are they same essay ?
👍👍👍👍
👍👍👍👍👍💯
Thank you very much! It was great especially in uzbek language😉👍
Wow awesome 👌
Hey , i am going to take round 2 exam, could you help with math questions ,coz they seem more difficult than i expected !
In Tajikistan national committee !
Wow! ,,,thanks for this video
Thank you for the extremely valuable information. Could you please make a video about how to transfer current education to US universities?
I noticed that all students who were accepted into UWC schools when they came in their first year were rejected, but when they came in the second year, they were accepted .... Is this really ?! Is it rejected the first time ?! 😂😂 I am really nervous about this because I am in the second grade of high school and I have one attempt in front of me, and I desperately want to attend UWC schools 😢
l was thinking about this like what the Secret about it?! because am in my second year of high school so its my last chance omg like l have seen alot of ppl saying this
same man i got rejected too
😍😍😍
Адолатхон ❤️
Алишер, ты супер! 👍
😊👍
👏👏👏👍👌 I saved this video
Really great advice👍
Thank you for your advice Alisher! Actually, that was great. I will use it in Oxiana Fellows Incubator!
Sizningcha O'zbekistonda UWC imtihonlaridan o'tish osonmi yoki qiyin.
Agar ozingga ishonsang onson
also Considering the applicants who have also passed , I can't understand a consistent pattern of how they choose the applicants - cause someone is quite, others are not , and that's really confuse me. I match all the UWC's missions but I'm afraid they won't see this through some online rounds. Do you think I need to behave as myself, or be at least more competitive to draw more attention
diversity is important! your best bet is to know what your strengths are and focus on using/demonstrating these strengths during the next round.
@@oxianafellows1441 thank you a lot!!
Hey! I am applying through the Ukrainian National comittee, and in 5 days i'll have the 3rd round , which is a group project and essay. Our 1st round was an online application with many short and long essays. There we wrote about really everything - our achievements, faults, hobbies and passions, motivation letter. And after the 2nd round ( group game and discussion) , we'll have a group project and essay. I really have no idea what they can ask us about. So I want to know your opinion - what kind of topic it might be? Of course, I understand that application process in different countries differs a lot, but as a UWC student you may suppose a topic ? I would be extremely grateful!!!
here are some practice questions you can use to prep for the interview: t.me/oxianafellows/175 (assuming you will also be interviewed 1:1 during round 3)
as for the group project round, it will focus primarily on your ability to think critically and function effectively in a team with other students.
Could you understand application tips in uzbek
application muddati o'tgan. keyingisi sentyabr'dan ochiladi. I will try to share tips once the application becomes available.

Wow awesome speech
Ur pronunciation is great bro🤩👍 good luck Actually Uzbek language is difficult
Ur pronunciation is great bro🤩🤓
To'g'ri aytasiz, har kim o'ziga yoqqan metodika bo'yicha ishlasa zerikmaydi va muvaffaqiyatlarga erisha oladi. Aytgancha, o'zbek tilida urg'u ko'p vaqtda so'zning oxirgi bo'g'iniga tushadi. Masalan, kuchli so'zida u harfi emas, i harfi cho'ziqroq aytiladi.
Ajoyib ,qoyil
We know u r relearning uzbek passionately.have a go.we will expect superb results.most important u have begun.😊👍👍
Yeah,u gave really nice example.Having any particular natural gift or talent in us is just a great chance to develop our skills in it.And also benefit from it in order to create our bright future.Firstly,we should practice on them.Only being aware about our natural talents and expecting it to give any advantage on other things is just pointless and would be foolish thing we have ever done. But II MUST MENTION ONE THING I AM ABSOLUTELY AMAZED BY UR UZBEK SPEECH.although u need some practice with ur speaking in person or online I mean with partners,it is just super.Keep trying. As u practice U will also accelerate ur speech speed.👍👍
Katta rahmat aka.Hamma ma'lumotlar biz uchun juda ham foydali😊
Thanks for the best advice!!!!My brother Alisher.
Raxmat foydali maslahatlar uchun. Juda ajoyib. Menimcha ham hamma özining kuchli tomonlari topishi va öz ustida ishlashi kerak. ✊
