I own a 2022 Manual as well, its such a fun little car

Went out of my way to not only get a manual, but to get the blue I wanted. Drove two hours and don’t regret it one bit. It’s a 24 already had pfp put on, the real stuff to not the dealer bogus

Can you start the manual transmission from the control remote or app always try but it said doors are unlocked

I have a 2022 KIA Forte GT with the 1.7 liter Turbo 4-cylinder equipped with the the super tight and smooth 6-Speed manual transmission. I've not yet done anything at all to it so it's completely bone "factory" stock! Now specs for this car says it's "TOP SPEED" is a modest 123mph. Well my wife, 18 year old son, and a few friends have road with me (4 GROWN ADULTS ABOARD) on flat land and have seen me hit 145mph easily! That's a whole whipping 23mph faster top speed than it's listed. That's a huge difference! It's also listed with a 6.7 second 0-60 time. That's definitely not bad at all for a 4 door 1.7 litter 4 banger, but that number is also false. I can consistently pull 0-60 in a quick 5.5 seconds (give or take a 0.1 second difference sometimes over many times clocking it. It's actually a much quicker top end car which is a blast on the highway when you can be coasting along doing like 60mph and just roll into the gas slightly and it'll zip up to 100mph like it's nothing! The track tuned suspension paired with the Michelin pilot sports from the factory make this car handle like a dream! Driving in the mountains or down long curvey back roads has never been so much fun! The price, quality, and performance of this car makes it a no-brainer! You would be ridiculous and out of your mind go and buy any other car in this class besides it! 2022 KIA FORTE GT = 5⭐ A+++ 👍🏼×10 P.S. You cannot find more bad mechanical stuff than KIA, it's litterally the worst on the market, those cars never last.

He got the ALL IMPORTANT MPGS wrong....its 29 CITY, and 37 freeway! I get 28 29 city, and 37 39, freeway.

The only reason why the gt line is acceptable is the wolf grey/red color combo. Other than that just go boss and get a gt like I did lol. 100 more hp and same gas mpg.

Owning the ‘23 K5 Gt-Line for 6 months now and watching this I will say it’s depressing to hear yet another reviewer over-relying on the ADAS to drive the car for them. The lane keep is not capable of avoiding potholes that are at their worst in the area where the tires fall when exactly centered in your lane in the Midwest in winter, and there is never - EVER - a valid excuse for relying on the car to make the best decisions for steering your car for you. If you’re going to drive your car, DRIVE THE DAMN CAR. Don’t rely on ADAS to give you an excuse to be distracted while you’re at the wheel. I deactivated 90% of the ADAS features in my K5 (all except for backing alerts for use when backing out of parking spots with giant SUV’s blinding both sides of the vehicle), as the number of bad decisions it makes for scenarios it’s not programmed for (eg: a car in front of you slows down while leaving your lane to enter another lane before making a turn freaks out the cruise control, the distance monitoring alert, etc) which can not only distress your passengers but reveals just how limited the technology actually is. If you choose to drive a car, drive it competently yourself and don’t rely on extremely limited software to do it for you. And don’t even get me started on the fun that happens when any slush on the road in winter instantly blocks the “forward radar sensor” and throws it all out the window and forces you to deactivate it anyway. The K5 is a nice driving car - when you drive it yourself and don’t expect the ADAS options to do it all for you.

The first Kia I bought was a Spectra 5 and it had 189,000 miles on it when I sold it for 3000.00 and bought a Soul and gave 17,000 for it in 2019 and got 15,000 for it in 2019 and bought a K5 GT line am coming up on 1 year in December and it is one of the nicest car I have ever owned. No problems at all so I think you are wrong about the 100,000 miles. My daughter bought a new Borrego and parked and sold it at 296000 miles. All she had happen was it blew an ac line and had to be replaced and serviced no other problems. The only reason I sold the Soul was to get the k5 GT line. My next car will be a Stinger !!!!!!! ( wish wish )

Buying a new car has become an incredibly frustrating experience. Most local dallas kia dealerships show to have inventory but in reality they have ZERO. Im not sure how many other brands do this but with gas prices being so high, i feel like its the reality version of clickbait. I drove an hour the first day of looking for a new car and learned the hard way, i shouldve known better with the chip shortage to call first, but still. Its incredibly shady 👍

We have 2022 K5 AWD!!! We absolutely love our new K5 inside and out… specially on snow ❄️ day this car handles so much better than our old Subaru Forrester AWD

2021 Honda Accords do come standard with LED headlights. I own both 2021 Accord 2.0T & Kia K5 gt-line AWD with special package. KIA has really stepped up its game with the introduction of the K5. The K5 could use tighter steering. I prefer my Honda as far as performance and handling.

Got the K5 GT-Line 2022 best decision I did 👍🏻 🙌🏻 it's great on gas and a good size car . I've gotten may compliments from friends & family about it especially since most don't even know it's a kia model due to the change of logo style.
