Yes, the Amazon is good and Aurora in the red dress... phew, but I for one like the simpler Vevo performances more. Although Aurora also says a lot here with her body language and facial expressions (typical Aurora), the performance seems too styled and choreographed to me. The live performance at Roskilde Festival is number 1 for me. Not that I think the video is bad (it's still Aurora) but somehow...😅

I like how everyone has their own favorites from Aurora (it is cool and it only confirms high quality of her music). For me this one was great from very start. But I also have some other songs from her that grew in me after following listens:). Thx for a reaction. It is always cool to listen to your opinions and impressions :).

I think i was the same. As she has so many great songs this one got put back a bit, but know after listening to it a few times and seeing it live and the crowd reaction also, it has become one of my favourites. Aurora hasnt made a bad song yet IMO. Amazing woman

Not only Aurora shines here, but also Amalie (Holt Kleive), who sings in the choir with Aurora. Both master the Joik. Many Norwegian singers have this Nordic way of singing. Maybe it's also because many people talk about the Nordic style of music when they hear Norwegian or Scandinavian music. Eivør, for example, has something similar to Joik and yet different but typical of the Faroe Islands. Just sounds good. I listened to Mari Boine often for a while, maybe I should do it again this evening with a glass of wine...❤

We can now see why her fans connect so much with Aurora and her music. It is because her songs are untouched by the controlling music moguls , it is very rare to see a true artist today doing it their way. Aurora comes across to these companies as a meek and mild girl who can be bullied and told what to do, but they quickly learnt that she is stronger than they ever thought and it was her way only. I have alot of respect for that, to believe in yourself and to see it through. Love herx

Its interesting to see her stance in this video. Side on, strong very confident, and when finished absorbing the audiences approval, were as when younger you saw a more fragile appearance and looking for a reaction from the crowd when finishing a song. She has grown as a person and also in her vocal capabilities in the last 5 years to the all singing dancing Aurora we now see onstage in her world tour concerts. Long may it continue .

But her mother would know. If i heard right her next album is about nature more and i think we would hear more such as this song. I certainly hope so. I hope they are not angry with me, if they come here and want to post it :) "It's about a place in the Sami people's territory called Máze. Despite big protests in the 70s/80s Norwegian government agreed to build a dam and hydroelectric power plant in the river there that created an artificial lake. It caused huge damage on the wildlife and nature. It also ruined a school and church. A bird reserve was among the wildlife that was disturbed." Someone posted the lyrics in the Sami language on Genius, and according to google translate they mean: "White Máze, golden Máze Máze church, Máze school to be flooded" which are repeated several times. "Golle Máze" means Golden Máze.

Very cool reaction and nice comments! I love this cooperation and how it is combined and these harmonies too. I also like how expressive Aurora is (as usually :) ) and you can see that she feels this music. I like f.e. the moment when she spread her arms and almost like she would fly in this cool part of the song :). I also agree it is like some piece of art and not just the standard song. It is good cause too. Ps. In first moment (listen) his voice was also a little strange for me, but I guess it is his style and after I listen and used to it I like it (and he has pleasant tone).
