I wish EA games could make a need for speed game that is based in Tokyo Japan, with a cool story mode with a lot of cut scenes, a story more or less as Fast and Furious tokyo drift, that will be a cool need for speed game, or if they can make a classic type need for speed that is mabe based in the 80's with only 80's and under cars, with a good story mode and a classy and classic world, more or less like need for speed porsche unleashed.

Beside the unforgiveable speedcards and microtransaction i actually love Payback, Its controls, map, drifting, cars and customization etc. The story is... well i think alright even though the end was rushed like crazy but the game is clearly underrated in my opinion

I find it super difficult to believe anyone found the soundtrack to Unbound tolerable. Literally 90% of the list was a bunch of slack jawed rtards fumbling sentences...Almost had to refund it if spotify ai DJ didn't come to the rescue.

Because you said NFS HP didn't handle well I got the feeling you didn't know you needed to use the handbrake to drift around curves. Once you know that it makes the game feel extremely smooth. I know this video is pretty old but I recommend going back and trying it again knowing this as it completely changes the way the game feels. Ah, I went back and watched the gameplay and it looks like you played the PC version. Yeah, the controls in it were bad. It's the PS1 version that had the handbrake drifting. Funny how much games used to differ between platforms back in the day. I'm now waiting to see which version of NFS HP2 you played. I really hope it was the Blackbox developed PS2 version and not any of the other fairly bad ones. The PS1 and PC versions of Porsche Unleashed were also completely different games. In that instance both were actually pretty good. I'll probably add more to this as I watch the video. lol Well, you didn't play the PS2 version of NFS HP2 but I'm glad you were aware of the difference. If you ever get the chance you should try it. It's truly one of the best NFS games ever made. Also give the PS1 versions of NFS HP and Porsche Unleashed a try if you get the chance. The better handling of NFS HP makes the game so much better, and Porsche Unleashed is more like what a NFS game was supposed to be at the time (though the PC version was also very good). And that's the end of my likely unneeded and unwanted commentary. lol

I HATE CANYON EVENTS like srsly Why the hell do they have to be at the end of EVERY SINGLE ZONE AND BOSS RACE????? If it wasn't for canyon events, i might like need for speed carbon and beat it, but no.... canon destroys the game for me

Stopped playing NFS games after "The Run". Just came back to the franchise last year cuz payback was free on PS Plus. It's funny how we so strongly agree about Most Wanted original but differ on Payback. I really liked the game. Even went back to platinum it last month. Though the reason I really like it is because of handling and the drifting mechanic. Felt a lot similar to most wanted/carbon. But yes, upgrading cars is a nightmare and cops are piss easy so due to those I'd say bottom of B tier for me. Enjoying NFS heat right now even though I prefer Payback's driving mechanics and mini-map. And haven't heard anything good about Unbound and things you told me didn't sell me on it either. Though will get a second hand physical copy to try soon and make up my own mind.

Funny how Rivals was one of the most shitted on NFS game when it released (aside from Undercover) and now here everyone praises it

Guy puts Carbon in S tier, but Underground 1 in B tier 🤣 IMO: S: MW, U1, U2 A: Carbon, Heat, 2015 The rest is trash and I don't really care, but MW 2012 is definitely in the last place. One more thing, I don't know how you can put Shift games that high, those are the furthest from being an NFS game - those are more like Forza games (not the Horizon ones).
