Whomever this “Announcer” is and where he got his info from: IMHO the original video of Morgan singing this song, he is on a boat with a big smile on his face driving the boat along the river and having the time of his life cruising. The video was not intended to appear bleak nor sad. Actually it was the opposite. The past is behind him and he was happily cruising into a new chapter in his life with a happy smile symbolic of him being in control and he cruises along excited and determined to find that one perfect lady whom will fill his heart with true and unwavering love. I find the lyrics and video to symbolize that he is on his path to a bright and promising future. ♥️
